Bandai Namco trademarks Tales of Eternia

Bandai Namco has steadily been working on remastering the classic games which are part of the Tales of series. The latest game, which has yet to be announced by the company as getting the remaster treatment, is none other than Tales of Eternia. Tales of Eternia was originally released on the PlayStation in 2000 and then ported over to the PlayStation Portable. The game was recently trademarked so perhaps the game’s trailer will debut at Summer Game Fest later this week.

  1. Tales of Eternia was a masterpiece during the PS1/PSP era, but it’s been “stuck” on older systems for too long. The storyline, the characters like Reid and Farah, and the 2D LMBS combat system were incredibly engaging back then. Hopefully, Bandai Namco will release a trailer this week at Summer Game Fest, and I’m looking forward to a graphically enhanced space waves update while retaining the top-notch voice acting.
