NateTheHate says Nintendo Direct takes place next week

Known leaker NateTheHate has said in a new video that there’s a Nintendo Direct happening next week. The annual summer Nintendo Direct is expected to take place on Tuesday, which is traditionally when the Kyoto-based company holds one. Journalist Jeff Grubb previously said that he expects it to happen then, though Nate has not said which day next week the Direct will happen.

  1. This is going to be a SLOW weekend waiting for this. My excitement is too much. I am betting on a new four swords game with gamechat, a new trailer for splatoon raiders and fire emblem, and hopefully the next 3d mario game.

    1. Why slow? SGF at Friday, Xbox showcase at Sunday. It’ll be over before you know it.

Also highly doubtful we’ll have a 3D Mario on this one. They seem adamant that Galaxy is the epitome of Mario’s anniversary.

  2. Game-Key Cards are the equivalent for me of “That Game Might As Well Not Exist.” So for Me The Nintendo Switch 2 has so far been the biggest disappointment that I have ever had with any console. I’ve owned every Nintendo Console and Handheld except for the WiiU, I knew the WiiU wouldn’t do well as soon as it was revealed so I skipped it and still have no regrets. I wish that I had that same hindsight with the Switch 2. Yeah, it is Selling Great but for me it is the biggest disappointment so far of my life when it comes to Gaming. If You Look at the Switch 2 like me and don’t count any of the Key Cards, The Library 3rd Party support for Switch 2 games so far is the absolute worse. The Original Switch did so well that I thought The Switch 2 would only make things even better. I also don’t like Mario Kart World at all, and I Love the Mario Kart Franchise. I’d go as far as to say that I Hate Mario Kart World. It’s that horrible to me. I’ve had the Switch 2 since Launch and I’m still here playing games for the original Switch. That isn’t right.

      1. I can agree that game key cards suck, but I honestly really like the switch 2 overall. Heck, MKW is pretty good, but it has some pretty big flaws with the open world and intermission courses. But the core gameplay is great.

    1. Game key cards are like a bag of chips where it’s mostly air with one chip. Like sure, it’s a bag of chips, but not really. But otherwise, I disagree with you with the third party, I honestly have been really liking it. Cyberpunk, indiana jones, star wars outlaws, FF7 remake and rebirth, assassins creed shadows, resident evil 7,8,9, street fighter 6, pragmata, and so many more!

      1. If you Ignore the Key Card Situation or in my case, if all of these titles weren’t Key Cards, I would say that The Switch 2 probably does has one of the best 3rd Party Support when it comes to Nintendo Consoles. At least right now it does.

        1. Yeah, if the games were physical and actually on the cartridges. My Switch 2 Collection would probably be pretty large right now. Some Older Consoles would Compress Games and then install them to the console directly from the physical media. That’s actually how older older PC games used to work as well, You’d install everything from the disc. If Nintendo would have put in a system like that, I would have been okay with it. Though, this isn’t even my opinion and is fact that multiple 3rd Party Companies have come out and said that they don’t even want consumers to own any of the products that they pay money for. I know that people like Sigma will want to reply with “YoU nEvEr OwN aNyThInG dUE tO tErMs AnD aGreEmEnTs” Just Stop.

  3. How about you grow up. I’m voicing my opinion and a opinion that many others share. I’m sick of people like you trying to unvalidated opinions that you don’t like. though honestly I say the Baiter is you and congratulations because you got me to comment. I’ve seen others respond to you, and I agree with them completely, you are a immature internet edgelord that thinks that going against every other persons opinions and commenting to controversial topics make you special, different, and cool, when in reality it makes you look like a sheep and an annoyance. I’ve voicing against real problems and anti consumer practices that are making not just gaming but so much more worse and stans like you always have to voice your fake and braindead opinions and defend these billion dollar companies.

  4. Was replying to SigmaZX btw, I’m sick of people like them. Defending practices that are @#$%ing us the people and consumers over. Maybe they haven’t been around long enough but I’ve been watching things get worse, Companies do things slowly and over time so people don’t notice, especially the younger generations and I’m not just talking Key Cards now, I’m not even just talking the Gaming industry. But People like SigmaZX fucking devote their entire existence to defending such practices and trying to silence or unvalidated all who speak out., It’s why Pokemon is in the horrible state that it’s in Quality wise. People tried fighting against it and calling out the issues in the franchise and the direction that it was heading in but the mass amount Blind Loyaltest for GameFreak and the Pokemon Company were so loud and and aggressive, defending the largest grossing franchise on the planet that everyone who actually did care about the quality and state of the franchise gave up and left. I think SigmaZX is a massive troll among many other things.

  5. I always chuckle when i read “the Kyoto based company” on these articles. Pointless synonyms because I’d bet all Nintendo fans already knew that.

  6. They made quite a few big announcements this week. I’m a little worried it took away surprises to add into the Direct, but maybe I can be proven wrong. Anyways, I am glad they are still hosting Directs in June like where E3 used to be. Just a little different in structure is all.

  7. And if this live broadcast does not take place on Tuesday but on Thursday or Friday, will there still be those who will tell me ‘they are right but the date is just a detail’?
