PlayTonic has officially revealed the leaked Super Yooka-Laylee Kart at the Summer Game Fest Day of the Devs showcase and it looks to play homage to Mario Kart on the Super Nintendo. Super Yooka-Laylee Kart was announced for PC with console versions to follow. One thing that sets this game apart from the numerous kart racers is the Rage System which kicks in once you’ve been hit a number of times. Check out Super Yooka-Laylee Kart down below.

What a strange artstyle, it’s like super mario kart but like in 3d.
Righg? It felt like it because they probably uses mode 7 just like Super Mario Kart and Star Fox did back then.
Not going to lie… Wasn’t interested in the premise of this game, headline alone. But, after seeing the trailer and seeing the graphics, I think I’m interested now. 🤔

The whole thing is flat.. like a GBA or SNES game.
I honestly expected a Diddy Kong Racing style successor.. it was much needed today with everything else being pretty much the same thing over and over, even Mario Kart.
Where did it say it has no campaign mode? Was it stated outside of the trailer, or are you doing a little trolling?
Standard Grand Prix or whatever doesn’t count, I mean like story/campaign style with challenges and bosses.
The trailer didn’t give any indication of having it, and seeing as it would be a pretty big thing to differentiate it from most other kart racers you’d think they would show it off.
If you expect everything to be diddy kong racing, you’ll just be disappointed in every kart racer.
So in other words, you’re guessing. Got it.
