The incredibly addicting Vampire Survivors is available on the Nintendo Switch and you can spend countless hours absorbed in the indie game. Today, the developer behind the game has announced that a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Vampire Survivors is in the works and will include numerous improvements such as better performance, more optimisation and mouse support. A release date has yet to be announced.
On the bright side, we will also be releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version, with better performance and mouse support!

I loved playing this game but they need to stop. There’s too much content.
Focus on Crawlers now
I’m not interested in Crawlers, would rather more Survivors content. The most important thing here is that it’s coming to Switch 2, which has a much more capable CPU than the Switch 1. My Steam Deck has a beefier CPU than either Switch model, and the framerate starts chugging when there are thousands of enemies on-screen at once. The more CPU power, the better – it even dips on my Ryzen 7840U handheld.
Glad to hear other platforms suffer bad lag and it’s not just exclusive to Switch. The Castelvania map tends to be the worst when it comes to crashes, though. I’ve had to refrain from using certain passive weapons because of it.
Wait. Isn’t Crawlers that stupid card game they’re making? Ew.
I’m of the opposite mind to CFG! I need mountains of more content! In fact, I need some Nintendo content for it! Link, Zelda, Samus, Ridley, Bowser, Ganondorf, Ganon, Mario, Bowser, Fox, on & on & on & on. This game is my Stardew Valley and I want it to put even The Sims’ content to shame.
Oh and some alternate costumes & more adventures for characters that don’t have them would be nice, too.
I just want to throw this in here for people who don’t know. I have this on my Switch 2 and there are no performace issues, it plays perfectly. I also have it my steam deck OLED and it does chug when the action gets really heavy. I don’t mind a Switch 2 edition but I don’t think it needs it.
