Pokemon continues to be a massive IP and its merchandise and especially its trading cards are hot property these days. Scalpers have been buying up all the Pokemon branded items to resell at higher price points on online marketplaces, but one North American retailer is trying to fight back. Target now seems to be limiting Pokemon merchandise and TCG cards to one per person to stop the bulk buying and reselling. Hopefully other retailers start following suit to put an end to the scalping of Pokemon products.

I saw that while I was browsing the vinyl section. I feel so bad for the parents who want to buy Pokemon stuff their kids for their birthday and they can only get one item. Screw scalpers! I think those are the people that everyone hates.

I would laugh if all those crappy Hau, Hop, Avery and Allister plushies got scalped because nobody buys those.

Actually I think Mario500 was banned because now they have a different icon meaning even though they got removed, they are still here.
I think someone else is doing his job for him, I am pretty sure if you get banned from the website, your email doesn’t just get banned, your computer get’s banned from the website.

They have been limited the Target x Pokémon Drops at least. You can only buy 4 of any item and it has to be different. For example 4 puzzles, or 4 posters, or 4 water bottles. Its a start at the very least.
I’m not even into pokemon cards and I get second-hand embarrassment seeing all those adult men run to buy up all the stock and resell them. It’s genuinely so embarassing and everyone I know thinks the same, and none of them even collect cards either lol
