Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave was given a healthy showing today during the Nintendo Direct presentation where we got to learn more details about the game as well as its release date. which is 17th September. Pricing for the game has now been announced due to the fact that it’s now available to pre-order and it is a premium priced release. The physical edition retails for $80 and the digital edition is $10 cheaper at $70. If you’ve got plenty of money to burn the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave Dagdan Collection can be yours for $120.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave digital is $70 and physical is $80

Normal price ….and 30 GB in size, which is still reasonable, so it will be digital for me.
Wow, that’s a lot. But it does feel justified with how big these games are.
Ouch what an ook in the dooker. Is this the first $80 physical since MK World?
No, the NS2 editions of tears of the kingdom, mario wonder, mario party, and kirby and the forgotten land were 80$. But at least it’s 70$ digitally, that helps a ton.
Ahhh I guess I didn’t consider those because I already owned them all for Switch 1 and just paid upgrade. Yikes. Maybe Amazon will price match the digital version like they did for Yoshi and Star Fox.
C’mon Nintendo… 😡 The $80 price push should have ended at Mario Kart.
Now I have no interest in this game in principle alone.
Strange that the Nintendo of Europe -listing is not up on the (formerly-known-as “My”) Nintendo Store yet.
I sincerely don’t want to miss out on the Dagdan Collection version!
Well, fuck this
Amazon is price matching the digital version. I just sent Sickr a tip about this too :)
I feel really guilty that these big game projects costs more now.
So yeah, some physical games are getting a $10 fee, not always is digital just getting cheaper (if that even is the case with ‘variable pricing’ and it’s intended psychology)
Not gonna lie, I may have to get this one Digital: i mean, I was still going to get it, but seeing that price tag definitely makes me sweat a little.
I’m totally fine with paying a little extra for a true physical game which makes sense, doesn’t make sense on a pseudo-physical aka GKC. That being said, I just preordered the Dagdan Collection.
