The immensely popular Nintendo Switch 2 game Pokemon Pokopia is getting downloadable content which makes a lot of sense given the sales. figures. The DLC, which is set underwater, will come to the Nintendo Switch 2 game in August. That’s not all as Pokopia will also be getting paid DLC in the form of an expansion pass.
Bubbly Basin introduces an underwater town where players can encounter Pokémon living beneath the sea, discover ocean floor-themed furniture, and find new outfits for Ditto. The free Version 2.0 update arrives at the same time and adds Dive, a new move that lets Ditto explore underwater environments for the first time.
Players who purchase the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass can claim a recipe for dynamic Ditto print blocks and wallpaper, which is redeemable for use in-game upon purchase. Additionally, players who purchase before August 31, 2027, will receive a code for 30 rare Pokémetal ingots. Parts 2 and 3 of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass are planned for late 2026 and 2027, with more details to be shared in the future.

Let’s go!! I wasn’t expecting that!
