Square Enix talks possibility of Final Fantasy XV on the Nintendo Switch 2

You may remember that an investor asked the team at Square Enix whether it would be possible to bring a remake of Final Fantasy XV to the Nintendo Switch. Well, it turns out that was a mistranslation online and the investor asked about the original game coming to the Nintendo Switch 2. Square Enix informed the investor that while it’s “not entirely impossible” they will pass along the message to the development team. Here’s what was said via the English question and answer session:

Does the “FINAL FANTASY VII” remake released on the Nintendo Switch 2 imply that it is technically feasible to port other past entries from the “FINAL FANTASY” series? I would like to see a Switch 2 version of “FINAL FANTASY XV.” Are you considering that?
