Minecraft launches for Nintendo Switch 2 in October

Well we finally have a release date for the long-awaited Nintendo Switch 2 version of the popular Minecraft. The new and improved version which features “Vibrant Visuals” as standard and also the much-loved Super Mario Mash-Up pack is also getting an update when Minecraft for Nintendo Switch 2 launches on 27th October. Vibrant Visuals includes “enhanced lighting, shadow effects and more” and the Super Mario Mash-Up pack brings a “custom Mario-themed world, music, and unique skins.” Mojang and Microsoft have also confirmed that a digital upgrade path will be available for Nintendo Switch players.

    1. I need those mouse controls and my life will be complete… I’m getting a little worried they haven’t mentioned them yet lol… they better though! That’s like, the whole point of the switch 2 edition…!

      1. Yeah that’s the reason why I read the article; I wanna know if this version has mouse controls, but it’s not stated anywhere. Hopefully they’re just being discreet about it, though I have no idea why they would be about this.

  1. I went to Minecraft’s official site and on the bottom of the page for Switch 2 they said Vibrant Visuals are t available in Multiplayer or Split-Screen. Its in a tiny font as well.
