Sadly Nintendo’s mobile title Mario Kart Tour is being shelved but to celebrate the game Nintendo has put together one final anniversary tour for players to participate in. Nintendo also released some in-game stats including the fact that Bowser is the most popular character to race as in the iOS and Android game followed by Princess Peach and Toad. Service for the Mario Kart Tour game ends on 29th September and it will be sadly missed.

I think this shutting down wasn’t that big of a deal. I mean the booster course pass dlc was used as a way to preserve pretty much every single course in Mario kart tour, even the variants of the city courses. But it’s sad to see it go away, I played it a ton when it launched.
Yeah, though not all of them were preserved. Piranha Plant Pipeline was an original track in Tour that is now going to be lost… along with the many GBA courses that got remade that didn’t make the BCP.
Really going to miss this game! The community was so strong online. It really cant be that much to keep it going and I know theyre still getting money. Easily could have had an offline version 🫠
This never added value to their stock so i can see many more mobile games getting slashed in future.
How people even game on their phone is beyond me. What a useless device for gaming.

The game was fun to play. Not making a huge deal of the shutdown since some of the courses was featured in the booster pack.
