A poster over at Neogaf has revealed that Mario will have a brand new suit which is being referred to as the Hammer Suit or Boomerang Suit. Expect Nintendo to show off some videos of Mario in the Hammer Suit/Boomerang Suit possibly sometime next week.
It’s the dreaded Blue Shell suit!

Ooh, good idea. There could be like, power ups to grab as well.
I hope that it has the ability to protect you when you croutch, like in SMB 3.

Or maybe something stupid like it brings enemies back to you to kill you!

That would be tougher to control because the hammers are thrown in an arc, and so you’ll have to predict your enemy’s movements and time it correctly unless its standing still.
If it grabs items, how convenient will that even be?

It’s difference from fire flower could just be that it circles the ground on the screen and comes back,
Plus, the fire flower and hammersuit had different throwing radius too

I just need to know if it still holds the run and shell spin. Beat crazy levels u wouldnt think with just the spin. boomerang is bonus.
I noticed that Nintendo are returning the suit in Super Mario Bros 3: Tanooki Suit, Boomerang Suit, the Statue (which i noticed from the boxart (the complete one)), and hopefully the Frog Suit and The Shoe !!
