NintendoNetwork.Net Redirects To Nintendo.Com

Although Nintendo appears to have been unsuccessful in securing NintendoNetwork.Com it seems the Kyoto based company has managed to snap up NintendoNetwork.Net as the domain name automatically points towards Nintendo.Com. I wonder how much the owners of NintendoNetwork.Com were offered for the domain name?

  1. i don’t like that name. its kind of a ripoff of sony. you don’t even have to think about it, PlayStation Network, Nintendo Network.

    1. That’s just a generic splash screen because someone owns a domain but hasn’t put a sight up. Doesn’t mean there actually is a site coming soon.

  2. Let’s not forget that Nintendo has something called Nintendo Network that they use for E3, so this name should not be anything new for us:

The matter at hand is what NN really does as opposed to who owns the domain name.

    1. If the owner decides to name his website Nintendonetwork (no spaces) then nintendo legally cant. it seems stupid, but thats the way it works (unless SOPA passes)

      1. My damn SOPA slipped off my fingers in the men’s shower room last week… You could guess what happened next. *shrivels

  3. Come on, owners of NintendoNetwork.com. Don’t be dicks. What could you possibly want with that domain name. Just sell it to Nintendo.
