Capcom USA Rep Promises Monster Hunter News “Very Soon”

Yuri Araujo, the new Capcom USA community representative has promised that we will be hearing some Monster Hunter related news very soon. Capcom has been surprisingly quiet regarding a Western release for Monster Hunter Tri G, so it’s about time that they broke the silence.

I know exactly how it feels to be lacking a new MH game for a while… patience is a virtue, right? Eventually it pays off somehow… we’ll have something veeeeery soon ;)

  1. Less soon more now.
I am at my limit of patience with monster hunter; either localise the damn games or tell us that you won’t do it in the first place.

  2. Tri G lacked online and uses local wireless in Japan. Everyone is shouoder to shoulder in Japan, though, so it doesn’t really matter. Maybe…just maybe they’re taking a while because they’re adding online for other regions. That is me wishing. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong or if there is a giant hole in my optimistic guess.

  3. That news will be “there are no plans to localize MH in the West. Have a good day.” I have zero expectations for anymore MH games.

    1. 3g has a high chance to be released too, if we follow other monster hunter games they are always delayed for about a year later than its japanese release. Without news or localization info. But they arrive… Most of them. I also think that they were waiting for digital games to be official in the 3ds. This way they won’t lose that much if the game doesn’t sell well in America.

  4. I’m hoping that they announce that MH3TG and MH4 will come to the west soon and that MH5 is in the works for the Wii U.

    1. Im hoping that they have spent their time porting it to wii u and saves can be transferred between both 3ds and wii u. also I hope they release triG because first editions in monster hunter are embarrassingly easy and lacking in content. triG will keep me happy long enough for 4G to arrive xD
