Nintendo Europe has released an image of the 32GB Premium ZombiU bundle which will be available for consumers to purchase in Europe on November 30th. It was confirmed a while ago that the package doesn’t include Nintendo Land, just ZombiU. The Zombi U hardware bundle retails for around £325 in the United Kingdom.

Yeah, I think the Wii U could’ve used a “hardcore” bundle here in America. You know how the so-called mature gamers need blood, gore, and guns in every game they own.
keep in mind they are not going to make games just to appeal hardcores, there other gamers that don’t like that. also if they just do that lots of parents would complain that nintendo is only putting blood on there games whitch i would agree if they do that. they would alienate many consumers by doing that.

When you look at what we end up paying for the ZombiU bundle in the UK, you could get the premium pack with Nintendo Land, plus ZombiU and the pro controller and end up paying roughly the same as we do for the ZombiU bundle alone (just estimating, can’t be bothered to do the price
conversion from my phone).
How do we use the Wii U without a HDMI input? Wii SCART lead?

If they released this in the US, “hardcore” gamers here would actually believe that Nintendo is finally trying to bring them back into their sights. Not that I won’t enjoy Nintendo Land. I just don’t see how this didn’t seem like a good idea for gamers in the US. That bundle seems PERFECT for gamers in the US.

First of all, those aren’t US bundles, those bundles are WORLD WIDE. Nothing to do with NOA. This ZombiU bundle is an alternative to the Premium bundle in Europe, giving you ZombiU instead of NintendoLand.
Second, the specific colours are for marketing purposes. If someone comes to your house and see you have a black Wii U immediately they know you bought the fuller bundle. It’s about easy identification.

You know how marketing works, right? You make a product that is visually identifiable. By limiting a black Wii U to the premium bundle, anyone who sees that immediately knows the owner bought the deluxe bundle. It’s like having something more to show for your purchase, so not just you know you forked out extra. It has the same effect as the Apple logo does in terms of fashion, it’s recognisable as something expensive and cool. The marketing makes perfect sense.
As for why only 2 main bundles, it limits choice, it means buyers can look at the bundles on offer and know quickly which one they want. Less thought time means less chance to back out of a purchase and a faster and higher sell rate. I bet when the two bundles were announced you knew right away which one you were getting? Imagine if they’d announced 4 different but similar bundles, would you have known right away which one to get? Parents buying for their kids or new buyers would be too confused, and maybe opt out.

The pro controller is not ‘virtually irrelevant’ to ZombiU. If you want to play the multiplayer you absolutely need the pro controller.

Thank you, mine is the LG 42lk520. I bought it specifically for the 2.4ms response time and the tru-motion which makes a game appear to be at a higher fps. It is a stunning display and I’m glad I chose LG.
Yeh I have a 2011 32” 1080p LG , and it has those features you mentioned ^_^ . Games look smooth as shit on it man :) .

Definitely, it’s more than enough for me. Super Mario Galaxy looks wonderful on it with tru-motion, along with other games I own such as Star Fox 64. Personally, I can’t wait for NSMB U to be on it. The LG TV is definitely a monster when it comes to gaming.
Yeh , they are as good as any TV :) . The remote interface and the bleeps and the bloop noises just feel so space age .
One annoying thing is my TV always defaults to PC mode when playing xbox 360 , just requires changeing to GAME mode on the input section where it activates all the glamorous stuff. At first I was like , hey!!!! this looks shit , I took it back to the shop the guy said switch PC to GAME , and then BAAAM The best picture quality i’ve seen!
I agree, I favor keeping all the enhancements on such as wider color gamuts and x.v.color for a better experience, especially with PS3.

From what I read of game informer Nintenland aint all bad. You just gotta play it to give it correct judgement. They shunned the game too like you are now; then once they played it and now they know why Ninten made the game. Can’t shun games until you play them my friend.

No, i haven’t, but the Metroid, Donkey Kong, Pikmin, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Mario, and Luigi’s Mansion minigames look fun as hell, and im a fan of all of the original games of those, besides Pikmin, but thats only because i’ve never played it before, and can see myself playing them often.

The unified art style means the whole game is tied together graphically… It’d look silly if the games all looked completely different from each other.

In UK, it’s not.
Prices aren’t simply $1 for a certain amount of £’s as the exchange rate says. Prices go up, or down depending on the country and its financial position. UK will always be priced more than US simply because of population. America can ship more, and sell more, so the bulk cost savings are higher, meaning the prices for turnover and profit can be targeted lower. Simple economics.

A) those plainer bundles are worldwide, not just USA.
B) the BLACK Wii U bundle comes with NintendoLand, NOT the white one.

To be honest if the wii sell great it was for the price. At the minute I won’t buy the Wii U until it comes down to price even if it means 3 years after release and it will allow me to see if the system doing well.
Sorry, I wanted to point out the population difference between the U.S. and U.K.; the difference in marketing tactics because of the population difference. Also, the U.S. still has more debt than any other country; we may seem okay but trillions of dollars in debt says otherwise.

Its very weird that Japan is getting the Monster Hunter Tri Universe pack because its geared towards them, and Europe is getting the Zombi-U pack because it geared towards them, but in USA we don’t have a special pack. Wouldn’t it have made sense for USA to have gotten a COD:BO2 pack. Europe is also getting the same premium pack as USA with the Nintendo Land so that can’t be the reason. It just seems like a blown opportunity for the USA not to have a special pack geared towards them as well.
