The price of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD has increased at Amazon. Last week, the game was listed on the online retailer for $49.99, but it now costs $59.99 – the standard price for most Wii U titles. The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is a remake of a game that was originally released over 10 years ago on the Nintendo GameCube. It will include new features, like the ability to play the game off-TV on the Wii U GamePad, and the ability to take in-game pictures to share with Miiverse users. The remake will be released in October.

My 3DS was stolen last year and I had to go file a police report for Nintendo – the biggest hassle was probably the wait at the precinct to give my statement, because some crazed mom couldn’t get in touch with her teenage daughter and everyone was trying to calm her down. (To make a long story short, the daughter’s phone was turned off and she ended up calling her mom from a Wendy’s while I was still at the station.)
BUT once I got home and had a new 3DS XL, Nintendo’s part went smoothly over the phone/email, and they transferred over the Ambassador Program, a ticket to redownload Four Swords, and store credit for every digital purchase I’ve made. So yeah, worth it!

Also, I don’t consider being able to “play the game off-TV on the Wii U GamePad” an added feature. So you can look at a small screen instead of the TV. It doesn’t add anything to the game itself.

To this day the only games that truly show anything that can be considered Wii U gameplay are ZombiU, Nintendoland, Black Ops 2, Sonic Racing Transformed and Batman…
Other than that there are no games that use the Gamepad as it was intended too…
Menus, Maps and inventory doesn’t say anything to me as you could have done it on the Gamcube/GBA era…
