In a new article for Zeboyd Games, designer and critic Robert Boyd has stated that skill-focused multiplayer games outside of established genres like FPS, are a “poor fit for the gaming press.” His reasoning is that reviewers, who are generally pressed for time and unable to stick with a game long enough to build skills and scores, will likely be quicker to dismiss a game like The Wonderful 101. Meanwhile, he believes that experience-based games that place a larger emphasis on story and cinematics are better equipped to catch a reviewer’s attention quickly and receive a favorable write-up.
Boyd may be on to something, as The Wonderful 101’s designer, Hideki Kamiya, was recently compelled to defend his game after an onslaught of mediocre reviews. Contrary to those reviews, Boyd called The Wonderful 101 one of the best games of the year. Here’s what he had to say about the subject:
The Wonderful 101 is one of the best games to come out this year & is arguably the first truly killer app for the Wii U (though NSMBU was a lot of fun & Zombi U had some interesting ideas). It is also currently averaging around a 78% on Gamerankings.
There are many things that the developers of The Wonderful 101 could have changed to make the game more inviting to the press & general public for that matter but ultimately games like The Wonderful 101 are a poor fit for the gaming press.

Finally someone who makes sense!!! Why can’t we just make an army of clones of him that will review games and analyze the industry? Serious respect to this dude. I agree with his opinion 100%.
I know right? I love his points about Demon Souls
Reviewers are in a rush to be the first ones to get their review out to get more hits. If they actually devoted their time to fully understanding and playing the game then I would think that innovative games would get higher scores and thus help the sales of the game.
^this, they complained about the control but i found no flaws to it doing my play time with the demo, dont know what they were smoking..lol
Lol, I love when people base their opinions on the complete product based on a demo. -.-
I based my opinion on only the controls which wasnt that hard to figure out not the entire game.
Wrong. Most reputable reviewers get their review copy of the game with plenty of time to finish the game, and no need to rush.
Not true. Most of them rush their reviews, even with a retail copy at hand, just to fill fast their publishing agendas and getting their money faster. Proof of that is many reviewers barely touch all the options and features of the games, like IGN Keza´s review about W 101
Keza’s review of W101 is the so fucking shit…
It’s like “how do i play video game?”. It’s embarrassing.
Listen to some podcasts in how often they’re depressed and jaded about the games they review from AAA to niche or even on of the Giant Bomb’s podcast about how they feel like rushing through their review copies just so they can play more GTAV. It’s even worse in the holiday season when it’s crowded with games and they have so many games to review.
No you’re wrong. It’s just common sense to try and be one of the first reviews out there that way you can collect the most hits. Don’t damage control lazy reviewers. Not all reviewers are bad but you have to admit that a lot of them are lazy and rush their reviews so their site can get more hits.
But will happily spend 60-100 hours in games like GTAV and Skyrim… Hmm
Agreed!
Hmmm
He’s right.
But 78 isnt poor, just mixed.
For 101, 78 is ridiculous. The game is a damn masterpiece.
78% is still good and i will still pick it up at some point since i love the demo, just need to finish blacklist, Windwaker and GTA5, so many good games so little time to play them all :/
he’s definitely onto something there…
Agree with the article 101%
XD
The problem with 101 is not that it is difficult: it’s that it is unfair.
On your first run of the game, you get several times punished for having done nothing wrong, except not knowing in advance what was gonna happen, which is not fun at all, hence the poor critics.
The game looks gorgeous and feels very fluid to play. It has excellent gameplay innovations and makes fantastic use of the GamePad possibilities, which would earn it at least 9/10 anywhere in the press if it didn’t have this cunning asshole-ness to its very level-design.
I’m sorry but something between 6 and 7 out of 10 is what it deserves. Only a masochist can say they enjoyed it frome the start, which is a flaw in something that’s supposed to amuse its owner.
Oh and the first killer app was Pikmin 3, hands down. Bingo Battle is a true gamechanger.
A user by the name of dragon something would argue with that though, its his GOTY game..lol
Damn right i did.
I’m also an adorer of games made by Platinum.
lol, i love Platinum games. ^_^
No, you’re just shit.
W101 is not unfair. Know how i know?
IT’S MADE BY PLATINUM!
That’s like saying “Oh, Dark Souls is unfair”.
No, it’s just hard. All of the technically data is fine tuned. This is the game by the people who made BAYONETTA.
What? So Bayonetta is perfectly balanced and every frame (in the 360 version at least) is pin point accurate? Yeah, it is.
W101, much like other games, just requires you to LEARN things. Put in fucking effort, use your intuition.
I bet you thought Skyward Sword was just AMAZING though, and not just complete hand holding?
As for “gamepad possibilities”….who cares?
You don’t NEED to use it, it’s there, it’s an option, not a prerequisite.
Playstation dualshock controllers have pressure sensitive face buttons and sixaxis. Do people use it? No.
Only Kojima uses it in Metal Gear.
And i know thats a much smaller feature compared to a big ass screen and gyro’s ect, but it doesn’t make me say “weeeell, game is amazing…but they didn’t use this one thing”.
6-7 my ass, the last 2 hours of W101 deserve a 10/10 on their own just because how insane it is.
You really don’t need to get that sensitive over a game you love. You love it, that’s great. A lot of my friends are playing it to the death and I’m happy for them, but game reviews are made by the press to assess how a game can be enjoyed by the public as a whole.
And yes, this game (just as Bayonetta) is unfair. UN-FAIR. Which is very different from hard. Fire Emblem: Awakening is a very hard game released this year, that I love. And it is fair. Because when something bad happens, it’s because YOU, the player, came unprepared or didn’t look closely enough to see a fatal threat coming your way.
A lot of times, in 101, did I get punished (and I mean dead) for not foreseeing the unforeseeable, which is, by any definition of this word, “unfair”. And don’t come at me with the usual die-and-retry BS. Die-and-retry is what’s acceptable in hard, but fair games, such as the hardest levels of Rayman Legends.
TW101 is unfair, Kamiya has always been meh at script-designing his games. It doesn’t make them unplayable, but it damn right flaws the full gaming experience.
As per you “who cares about the gamepad?”: i don’t say it is necessary to make good use of it, but you have a serious psychological problem if you think you can blame me for saluting a game that does.
Good day.
No, it’s not unfair. YOU’RE JUST BAD AT IT!
I beat each chapter in Bayonetta without taking any damage, or taking very little in the latter parts.
It’s not unfair at all.
The game isn’t the problem, you are.
If it has bad controls, or started a sequence forcing you into next to no health, or anything that didn’t involve your input, then it’s just hard, and the only problem is you, that’s a fact.
This was my comment btw
“If it has bad controls, or started a sequence forcing you into next to no health, or anything that didn’t involve your input, ”
That’s where you’re wrong. When something is difficult to accomplish, it is hard. When it puts me in a bad situation without my input, it is unfair, bad game design.
But I see we can’t agree on the fact that Kamiya sticking his dick in the player’s butt without their input is not actual anal rape, so whatever.
I’m really glad this game has found its public, and I stress on the fact that it has extremely nice elements to it, but is far from perfect. Just a good game. 6.5/10
Except that exactly how the game is.
So what, the game pushes your shit in. It’s called difficulty. Just because every Nintendo game besides Fire Emblem over the past 10 years has been piss easy doesn’t suddenly mean a game that isn’t is unfair. If you die in W101, YOU FUCKED UP. The only thing thats not designed that well is very infrequent platforming moments, and even then, all you do is loose a bit of health.
Face it, you’re just shit at it.
I beat it, you moron.
You just don’t know anything you’re talking about. Fair difficulty is a thing, but it’s not found that often in Platinum games.
And if you think Nintendo games are piss easy, I strongly advise you to 100% all of them. Difficulty is there, and it’s a faire deal of it : it’s what sidequests are for.
You’re an incult and I have nothing more to exchange with you. I’m just wasting my time on you.
No, I feel like you haven’t beaten it because your complaining about the game being cheap and unfair when it isn’t at all.
When/If you mess up a sequence, you lose a tiny fraction of health.
If you have a game over, it’s by your own fault and at worst you just get a low score (you still respawn where you died).
So… in light of that… what exactly is your issue in this game you’ve beat?
NO, YOU JUST SUUUUUCK. I beat it on hard, where it has end game enemies right at the start, and harder variations, all of that. Guess what? Still beat it, still wasn’t “unfair”. It’s fucking called HAAAAAARD. If a game is HARD, it’s DIFFICULT, even PUNISHINGLY DIFFICULT at times. Guess what? ITS SUPPOSED TO BE!!
And fuck off “100% these Nintendo games”, collecting shit isn’t hard.
You just SUCK.
I haven’t played the game, so I can’t have an opinion about it. I can accept both of your opinions as long as you state them as opinions. However, the ”you hate the game because you suck at it” routine is a flawed argument in a lot of ways. Have you actually seen him play them game?
No, but i’ve played the game, so i know his points are completely false, because all of the “flaws”, and the “unfairness” i can beat by just being good at it.
And considering Rayman Legends doesn’t actually have any hard levels what so ever, that just solidifies that you’re just bad at W101.
Platinum games are notoriously ruthless. Get over it, or play it on easy.
The fun is learning all the systems, and getting really good at it. You just have to put effort into it, instead of giving up and throwing a tantrum saying “it’s unfair”.
Life’s unfair, grow some balls and deal with it.
You’re the reason Zelda games lack any challenge anymore.
You’re funny!
LEL you just proved you know nothing about balance in games.
FE is the very definition of unfair. Shit the strategy in the game just gets reduced to pure trial and error
To me it sounds like you just dont like Hack & Slash games
“And yes, this game (just as Bayonetta) is unfair. UN-FAIR. Which is very different from hard. Fire Emblem: Awakening is a very hard game released this year, that I love. And it is fair. Because when something bad happens, it’s because YOU, the player, came unprepared or didn’t look closely enough to see a fatal threat coming your way.”
Yup, I loved it when fliers with ranged weapons appeared (with no warning in some levels – Laurent’s recruitment chapter), and in the same turn they appeared, moved and one-shot my character that was well-protected from all existing threats! That was totally fair.
And let’s not even get into the “reset until your opponents don’t have abilities that make the map literally impossible”-fest that is Lunatic+ difficulty.
I’m genuinely curious about particular moments that you would consider unfair in W101. I can’t think of any right off hand.
Replying to myself here…
Looking at the other comments, the turtles can be somewhat hard to learn (though most of their attacks are telegraphed), and the Punch-Out boss segments can be construed as unfair as well (though again, all their attacks are telegraphed, if you know what to look for).
I’d still put any unfairness that W101 has well below some of the nonsense of Fire Emblem, though. As I said, spawning fliers with ranged weapons and Lunatic+ difficulty both, to me, go well past anything W101 throws at you, especially when you consider the penalty for dying/getting hit in W101 (trivial) vs the penalty for losing a character in classic mode in Fire Emblem (lose them for the rest of the game, or lose up to an hour or so of work on the map, if you’re going slowly and lose someone towards the end).
Sounds to me like you suck at playing the Wonderful 101, I had no problems with it, aside from the fact that it needs some sort of targeting system to help focus my attacks better at what I want to destroy. You just need to be more aware of your virtual surroundings better :P
MKultra
Please take the time to play the game.
I don’t even care if you like it or not, but calling it unfair is…. well unfair to this game.
I played through the entire game on normal. On my second playthrough I figured I would try it on easy… and it’s a freaking cakewalk…. because I learned how to play the game.
Every enemy has a certain pattern. Once you figure this out that game becomes much easier. There are no mechanic spoilers in this game. What I mean by that is the game doesn’t say “Hey you see this arm swinging towards you? you can block this. You see this huge tail? You need to dodge this. Here lets try this 10 times so you know how to block and dodge correctly.”
On top of that the game doesn’t even punish you!!! If you die you respawn in the SAME spot with the SAME damage dealt to an enemy, even bosses. The only way it hurts you is in your overall score, which dictates how much money you get.
If the camera view is messing you up… then move around and see where the enemy is. It’s called crowd control. Figuring out what enemy is where. Diablo 2 was the same way. And that game is a freaking masterpiece too.
To top this all off. The game gives you a ridiculous amount of upgrades that make your gameplay much easier. Some of them will make it so you AUTOMATICALLY block an enemy attack or slow down time when you dodge.
The real problem is no one will try to actually play this game. It’s a throwback to what gaming is all about. Something new and refreshing that is supposed to challenge the user and ultimately make them a Juggernaught once they figure it out.
No way.
There’s moments when you fail that you die and restart with less health and times when you die and it’s a game over/restart screen.
99% o the times ypubmentioned where you’re just blindsided and didn’t react quick enough, you just die and lose a little health. You should not be getting enough game overs to justify disliking the game.
And even when you do restart from a game over, you don’t lose progress… you just get a lower grade.
So… it sounds like… it just gave you lower performance grades and that is what made you dislike it.
Exactly.
P* games always have a great restart system where it only punishes you by lowering your end grade.
Unless you’re playing at the really high difficulties. But at that point, it wouldn’t bother you.
TW101 isnt unfair at all. Especially considering dying has no consequence
Unfair is like Fire Emblem and shit spawns right next to you and murders your character
Yeah or when someone lands an insane critical. In Fire Emblem you can lose characters for the REST OF THE GAME.
Wonderful 101 says “get up and get back in there”
Wrong.
The game isn’t unfair, it just doesn’t hold your hand.
It demands that you practice and increase your skill level until you’re no longer making those stupid mistakes that result in lower scores.
7 out of 10 is too low for this game, point blank and period.
Decreasing a game score just because you can´t deal with its difficulty is unfair. W 101 is difficult to today standarts, but its no way harder than most games of the 8 and 16-bit era. W 101 demands skill and memorization and that should be a plus and not a minus
I absolutely love the hell out of W101, and I also entirely agree with you. There’s a lot of stuff in the game that one is simply unable to prepare for without being cautious and taking 10 minutes for each encounter.
Spoiler-less example: There’s these turtle-like enemies that usually come in pairs. You have to use a certain, slow weapon to break their shells. Now, one-on-one, these enemies are fine. But his buddy usually makes it more difficult to an unfair degree — such as a lava burst under your feet, or rapidly snapping out its neck as you’re stuck in the middle of a swing.
And the boss battles are the worst culprit of this. There are a multitude of nigh-unavoidable attacks, or chain damage that happens on a consistent basis. One boss-battle in particular, which pays much homage to “rock ’em sock ’em” fights, is incredibly difficult in an unfair manner on a first, or even a third, run.
I love the game, and one certainly learns the intricacies past their first playthrough, as you unlock more and more options for your team. But, is the game entirely fair, through and through? Absolutely not.
And to those of you vehemently defending the game (“ur b4d @ vidja gaemz”): This is -not- a feature. It is an unfortunate flaw, and arguably the only blemish on what is otherwise a masterpiece of a game.
No it’s not. All those “problems” you have, i don’t. Why? Because i got better at the game.
You guys are a bunch of fanboy babies. Its his opinion about the game if he believes the game deserves a 6 or 7/10 then let him be and get over it. truth is it only deserves at most a 7 but defiantly not a 10. its an ok game that only fanboys will defend and enjoy nothing special
Thank you, finally someone who sees what I mean, what I talk about and overall, how I reviewed the game.
I do agree for being punished for not knowing what will happen in advance. That has happened on many occasions, and it’s like WHAT?! Could have hinted me what to do. So, I end up replaying levels over to get a higher score. But I do think it deserves an 8. Before I would say a 6-7, but after playing it for sometime, I think it deserves an 8, ,if it wasn’t for the penalties you get for no knowing what to do in advanced, I’d say a 9-9.5/10
And this is why I pay no attention to reviews.
Praise to high heavens every CoD and other generic FPS, 3rd person shooter and easy to play sandbox games.
Read this article before, it’s great.
But it’s only part of the problem, 1/3 to be exact.
The 2nd is reviewers are just fucking shit at video games. For people who play games for a living, they’re awful. Reviewers could even fucking parry in Metal Gear Rising. And not just IGN, and Gamespot ect, but even Angry Joe and ProJared were shit. I work on average 40 hours a week. It took me 2 minutes in a DEMO to understand the systems behind Metal Gear Rising, and it took me a demo to understand W101. Reviewers are just shit, plain and simple, and have been for a long time (eg, the review for God Hand)
And 3rd, and the most depressing part…it’s all about money. If you have a channel, or site, what get’s most clicks? Fair, honest and branched out articles, with effort put into every single one? Or 20 videos/articles on GTAV? The latter, obviously.
It’s a fucking joke. And it kind of disproves the point this guy makes. People won’t spend time doing a GOOD review of W101 because “ooo strapped for time”, but will spend 60 hours in GTAV (according to Adam Sessler, btw, he’s a hack), or 100-200 hours in Skyrim? Fuck off. Put effort into everything. But why bother, right?
Just bait all the reviews to please all the fanboys and moronic casuals so that you receive more ad and click revenue.
Fucking disgusting.
“…arguably the first killer app foe Wii U…”
I couldn’t agree more. I’m dumbfounded at how there waan’t more hype for this game. It is really fantastic! People should be picking this up like it’s Wind Waker HD.
Did you beat it? Dat ending, holy shit…
And i thought the riding a missile on a motorcycle to punch God into the Sun in Bayonetta was good.
Not quite. I left off at the Mother Platinum Punch-Out!! fight. I can’t imagine there’s much left.
Also, Punch-Out!! battles… so awesome…
Yeah, you only have about 10 minutes left.
Just the concept of “Mother Platinum” blew my mind, with the big ass Platinum logo turning into a robot xD
Thanks for the spoilers… I guess
Well you should’ve bought it. But it’s really not that big of a spoiler.
I bought it at launch, I just haven’t had time to play through.
So your argument is invalid.
Though you didn’t spoil anything from me yet.
Oh wait im totally wrong, you have like 2 more hours to go. Be prepared, its NUTS
It gets epic, bro.
I’m talking REALLY freaking epic.
Think “IMMA FIRIN’ MAH LAZAAAAAAH!” awesome, but with space ships and Unite Morphs….
wow so I guess generic fps is what reviewers love to review huh. what a sad phrase that was.
He means established, did you read the part he talked about Demon Souls being easier to understand since its an ARPG
for me it’s a button masher. not my thing. i can’t be bothered with 101 different characters and attacks. fuck do i look like a member of mensa?
No comment i can produce will justify how stupid this guy is.
You obviously have a problem with other people’s taste. Open your mind a little.
No.
Anyone who says “it’s just a button masher” is an idiot by default.
Not to mention the whole “i cant be bothered with 101 different characters and attack” is not only just laziness, but inaccurate.
As for your opinion, you just suck
Oh my god Platinum fanboys are even worse than CoD drones, this is a very sad view to see.
“Platinum fanboys”
No, you’re really just fucking shit at it, that’s it.
Platinum are the masters of character action games, they don’t fuck up.
It would be like saying “oh Mario Galaxy is unfair because i missed a jump because it’s not long enough, or i can’t recover health because there’s no coins”.
Fuck off.
YOU’RE SHIT AT VIDEO GAMES.
Stop blaming the developers for your appalling performance. Or better yet, pussy out, and PLAY IT ON EASY!!!
*Face-palm*
You obviously know nothing of the game if you think 101 characters means 101 different Unite Morphs.
Or do you even know what those are?
This isn’t about Wonderful 101 getting a ‘bad’ score because it didn’t. In fact it’s a pretty good average score to have when comparing to sites like RottenTomatoes when it comes to movies. The score is also deserving; great game with a few hampering issues.
Nono, what this is really about is the games that are destined for +90% because of media buzz and publisher pressure.
It didn’t get a “bad” score, but it got, like all Platinum games, an unfair score, because of terrible reviewing.
That’s why I’m not so fond of scoring games with a number. Although I myself am at fault, since that’s what I currently do. Still, I have been developing a new way to rate games without all of that – especially since a lot of people tend to skim over reviews and head right for a rating/score.
Maybe I should just do random things like Conan on Clueless Gamer. lol
Oh the number scoring system is just terrible. You cant have a system where 6/10 of the numbers, sometimes even 7, are seen as a bad game.
We should rate games as Tin<Bronze<Silver<Gold<Platinum. It's a bunch broader rating system, Tin is basically the default "don't buy it" rating, but everything else is an actual rating, Bronze being an okay game, silver being good, gold being very good, and platinum being Mario Galaxy quality.
But the problem of bad reviewers is still a big problem. The ratings for Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us and GTAV have been just ridiculous and undeserved.
Pretty funny how for GTA V Metacritic has digged up reviews from the deepest depths of internet.
So those 1 or 2 negative reviews youre bound to get, does not lower the average.
About 70% of those publications I have never heard of, but not claiming that all of those would not be reputable in their own small circles.
Obviously an opinion from a casual gamer…
That’s the difference between Hardcore players and casuals…
Hardcore players can be good at anything no matter what…
And again have to exclude myself from this group called “hardcore”.
That´s plain true. Videogame press if full of morons working as reviewers. A reviewer should at least enjoy games, but most of them are just arrogant empty heads
Specially on Nintendo games or Nintendo Exclusive games…
When is anything below %50 considered a low score??? And in the article he was made that it got a %87??? WTF, You guy shooting for the ludicrous score now!?!?
Give this man a medal. He gets it. He is completely right when he says that the W101 is one of the best games to release this year, and could be considered a system seller to some. I love it, and plan to keep the W101 in my permanent collection!
“…could be considered a system seller to some”
Evidently, not enough. ;/
Well not people are doing terrible reviews…
Plus we live in a industry where Bayonetta 2 being a WiiU exclusive, because it’s the only way it would ever exist, because no-one else would publish it, caused people to loose their minds, and say they hate Nintendo, and Platinum, and sending Platinum death threat, when the game wouldn’t exist otherwise, so why would i expect any “gamer” to buy a WiiU at all, let alone for a Platinum game, that apparently “is exactly the same as Pikmin 3”. To which point, all i can think is, do we even really want these people to buy the system? I sure don’t.
Those idiots you are describing are really only a vocal minority in comparison to the global gaming community and consumer market though. Sales of the Wii and 3DS alone prove that.
As for Bayonetta 2 not getting published by anyone else, I think the blame starts with SEGA. They had enough for the buyout of ATLUS’ parent company.. Why couldn’t they publish their own IP? SEGA has been doing a lot of shady things recently.
The gaming industry has been an overall crappy place for a long time anyway. I have come to appreciate that after working in it for some years now. Blame lies both on the community (including media) and company sides.
I just try to enjoy the games I enjoy and avoid the drama.
I can definitely see this being the case. I will get Wonderful 101 and give it every chance before I make my judgements.
So they say dont have the time to dedicate themselves to games that take longer and thus dismiss W101.
But then they give 10/10 to games like skyrim.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, i present you with the definition of Double Standart:
gaming journalism
is anyone able to tell me why 78% on average are suddenly poor? i mean not every game can be grossly overrated like .. for example GTA 4
Imagine getting a 78 on your finals.
Ign gave it a 7.4. That’s like a C-
After playing the game, even if the controls didn’t work at all it still deserved better than that. Great story, amazing graphics and wonderful presentation.
not it’s not… a c- would be more in the vicinity of 60 ;)
78% on average is a perfectly decent score, nothing wrong with it
Pandering to the tired and biased press shouldn’t be priority for ANYONE making videogames.
Games like GTAV get almost 10 on Metacritic and challenging games of pure gameplay like Wonderful 101 having poor reviews.
That is the gaming marketing of today!
What a silly argument. W101 is not hard to play.. It’s hard to master.. I mean.. jeez you don’t even have to restart the fights.. the enemies’ health stays the same after you “die” . If you haven’t figured out that this type of game only begins after it ends… then I think you missed the point. This game was obviously designed to tell a story but continue to be a game after the story is done.. By that I mean trying to out do your scores. That’s far from unfair and that’s how games were once upon a time.. See Duck Tales or Ninja Gaiden. For those calling this game a button masher… There was this one funny part(I’ll leave it at that) . If your mashing buttons… your playing a different game than 101. I suggest checking out some online videos on how to play because you didn’t read the quick tips or look for help in the menu. The reality is this game is made to play through multiple times and you cant(and by that I mean Won’t) do that for a review. Game is a 9 easy.. very easy to give a 9 once you get to the end and find out you bought all morphs and yet still didn’t get them all ;-)
wonderful 101 is one of the best action games and i dont understand why especially in japan it sold so bad?!?! why is it so unsuccessful? it seems like a bit darksiders 2…good game, bad sells
I love this game. Best Wii U game. The reason why Wii U fans are complaining is because it’s NOT rated “E.” They only like kiddy games. At this rate 3rd party developers will be scared to put their games on Wii U. I sort of blame Wii U owners as why GTA V may not come to Wii u. It’s not power in the Wii U’ it’s y’all not buying the 3rd party games. Y’all better buy watch dogs because it may just be the last open World game Wii U will get.
It doesn’t fit the Western ethos of rinse and repeat; the same old shit just with a different sticker attached to it. Yes you can say the same thing about Nintendo games but, we’re talking about The Wonderful 101 here, and if I’m not mistaken, that’s a Nintendo exclusive.
True gamers that enjoy variety are sick to death of the same old shit. All the big gaming media sites do is jack up the same old shit and sing a very different tune when something truly breathtaking comes about. We’re bored of it.
