Square Enix Showing Two Trailers At VGX Awards

Karl Stewart, VP of Marketing at Square Enix, has announced that the developer and publisher plans to show off two new trailers at this year’s VGX Awards show later this month. One of the games is thought to be Thief, and the second game is rumoured to be something in the Tomb Raider franchise. Whether either of these titles will grace the Wii U remains to be seen.

Just reviewed the final cuts of both trailers we’re showing at next Saturdays @spiketv #VGX. Amazing stuff from the teams as ever. Cant wait

      1. Tomb Raider has been on Gamecube and Wii. There’s been at least 3 titles on Nintendo consoles.

Regarding these 2 upcoming games, there’s not a hope in hell they’ll be on Wii U.

  1. It’ll be that tech demo again.
Nah, but i hope one of them is something new that isnt Tomb Raider related. The game waa fine, showed how overrated Uncharted is, and how the media is full of shit, seeing as it was almost identical, yet got a different responce than Uncharted did, but id rather something better.

  2. Thank god I have the ability to know what games are good from watching trailers even if the game has horrible graphics but it just work if they show gameplay.

  4. Those taffers had better not screw up the reboot. Though granted, it is hard to do a worse job than Deadly Shadows.

  5. Nintendo needs to stop bullsitting . First cancel 3DS version of smash bros. Its obvious 3DS version would kill Wii U version. Show off an IP that is for mature audience and uses exclusive Gamepad features that will make the hardcore audience look twice. 2nd showing a 15sec trailer of Starfox, Zelda or Metroid would be a big. Lastly stop the kiddy commercials because Sony proved it ain’t working.
