With the end of the year just around the corner, it’s only customary for online retailers to publish their top 10 or 100 best-selling lists. Last week, we reported on Amazon Japan’s best-selling video game list, where Monster Hunter 4 unsurprisingly came top of the chart. This time, Amazon.com has published the top 100 adult print books of 2013, and there’s a familiar hefty 280-page, green-coloured book sitting within the top 10.
The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia has placed at number 6 on the Amazon chart – an impressive feat for one that encases video game lore. The green-coloured gem even tops Stephen King’s greatly revered Joyland and The Shining’s sequel Doctor Sleep. Earlier this year, the gorgeous hardback was the best-selling book for over 92 consecutive days on Amazon. You can see the full list from Amazon, here.

Yes
well deserved. Hardcover, 300 pages for 20$ is really cheap.
Wholy crap, people actually buy that book. Dont get me wrong, i love zelda games but buying a book about a game seems a bit over the top oOo
Nothing wrong with that. It’s no more different than buying a strategy guide or a magazine for games, except this one’s all about everything Zelda. :)
I bought two copies.
Hooray for Zelda! Hugs!
yep. I contributed to that. one hell of a book.

I don’t own this book yet, but I will at some point. The Zelda universe is fascinating.

Ps: after that Game Theory episide of Legend of Zelda, the Zelda Timeline actually makes sense.
