A GameSpot blogger has stated that GameStop has just received Batman promotional merchandise which is due to go on display in stores in March. This has lead some online to believe that Rocksteady is preparing to reveal their next entry in the acclaimed Batman series.

but seeing as every other developer don’t wanna bring their games (or collections for that matter… see Mass Effect or Assassin’s creed Etzio’s trilogy) i don’t think it would come to my Wii U…and I am saying this as WB is not bringing the DLC’s to it…
Don’t get me wrong… if it does indeed turn out to be a trilogy/collection w/e it is… I really want to see it on the U. I would get it since I never owned Batman Arkham Assylum, and had to beat it really fast. If this turns out to be a collection and if it does sell well on the Wii U, we might get to see the other game’s trilogies as well.

This sounds like the blackgate release for consoles
It could be the game Rocksteady was working on, plus the last game they made was Arkham City which came out in 2011. Rocksteady had almost 3 years to work on the next game, or maybe it was in development along Arkham City. Who knows but I’m excited.
