Hot off the Xenoblade Chronicles Japanese live stream, Monolith Soft has announced that Xenoblade Chronicles X will get a Wii U bundle. You’ll get a 32GB Wii U console, Wii U GamePad, a copy of the game, an Xenoblade Chronicles X art book, a special map, and 1,000 yen pre-paid card.

Never played any of the xenoblade games before and I may start with this cause it looks impressive. Should I get the wii release on 3ds?
You dont need to play the past games to play this one, but I recommend you to play Xenoblade because its a great game

I would really, REALLY recommend the Wii version as it looks grander and larger scale imo. You can get it in GameStop quite cheap now and playasia.com sells the U.S. version brand new. But if you can’t get the Wii version at least try the New 3DS one. It’s one of the best RPGs ever made.
I really like how they changed the color of the wii u part of the box art for the game. Hope it’s like that outside of Japan as well. It probably is and may have forgotten. I can’t wait for this game.

Nintendo is really trying to make this game sell big in Japan and I think it will hopefully they’ll feel the same way about the states and release that bundle over here and Europe as well

If they bring this to the U.S. I would buy it instantly. I’d recommend anyone else interested in buying it outside of Japan email Nintendo and let them know that. Given the success of Operation Rainfall, they might be more likely to consider releasing it in other regions.
Was the Wind Waker HD bundle the only example that included a special paint-scheme for Wii U? Or would that mean a ‘Limited Edition’ Bundle?

They did nothing to the WiiU. What a waste. Nintendo’s is really trying to sell those WiiUs. Sad that’s it’s come to this. But with how inconsistent they are with treating their fanbase, they almost deserve it.
I do hope you know that Japan LOVES rpg’s. Making this bundle in Japan is an extremely intelligent move. It’ll sell hundreds of thousands.
I’m hoping that, given the outpouring of support from Operation Rainfall, we’ll see it released here in North America as well.
