Capcom has released an online survey which asks if you would like to see Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on another console beside the Nintendo 3DS. I dunno, the Wii U version of MH3U did better than their expectations. I think Nintendo fans have shown Capcom that they really like MH as a series. I would really like to see MH return to its Playstation roots though because a HD high graphic version of this game would be fantastic!
I’d like to see Monster Hunter with actually normal graphics, but Capcom always makes their MH games for the weakest platform available to save on the development. Their games are still in the PS2 era in terms of graphics. The only acceptable one is MH Online, but that isn’t out yet.
Seems to be most folks always complaining about graphics. Its clear that the folks that truly love the Monster Hunter dont worry about the graphics. The game play is what its about. I mean minecraft sold for 2 billion.
Why even compare it to Minecraft? A game that is about building, so how much more complex can you make it? Also a game that started as a small indie project and is mostly targeting kids, but later became a huge success. This is a game that is made by a pretty big studio, the sales are guaranteed and would benefit from better graphics, especially since the entire game is about killing huge monsters and creating better equipment, which would both greatly benefit from better graphics. I love when people like a series and it sucks in terms of visuals, they say “graphics don’t matter”, but when a game in the same series comes out and looks great, it’s everything people talk about. Just look at MK8 and Zelda U. The gameplay is one thing, graphics are another. You people act like you can’t have both.

And another thing, Mh4U and 3U are two of the best looking games on the 3ds. Saying they “suck in terms of visuals” is your opinion. Just because a game doesn’t have the most up to date visuals does not mean they suck. I still think Shadow of the Colossus has great visuals. It’s about artstyle, not pixal quality.. Unless you really are just that shallow..
Don’t pretend to be intelligent because you are not. I never said that they look bad. I said that they look bad for today’s standards and from the tehnical standpoint, I am correct. Not only from the pixel standpoint, but also from the texture, polygonal and lighting standpoints. SotC came out a LONG time ago, so why compare it with a game from 2015. with it is beyond me. I simply said that they should make the next game on a platform that can produce up to date graphics.

Wii U would be awesome, but Ps4 with compatibility with the Vita would be awesome as well. I would just hope they would let me transfer my save cross console where I’ve played over 200 hours, but I doubt it.
Has any game ever offered cross-console saving? (And not stuff like Thomas Was Alone where I can go from the PS3 to the PS4 to the Vita, I mean like Wii U to PS4 or 3DS to Xbone.) I think I heard somewhere Diablo III let you go from PC to PS4/Xbone, but I’m not even sure about that.

GTA V Online let you move your saved progress from 360 – > PS4, PS3 – > Xbox One. It’s kind of on that fine line because it’s only the online portion of the game which saved on R* servers anyway.
Otherwise, I can’t think of any other game that really allowed that outside of its own family branding.
Vita is dead. Why bother with that and ignore Wii U when its picking up steam and making a profit now?
Because vita is in second place in terms of sales in Japan. Sure, its sales are lacking here but it is extremely popular there. Since handheld gaming in Japan is at its peak, why not make a game work across several handhelds? Exclusivity is poisonous when you are a third party publisher.
Hello? Japan is the godsend for portables and mobile. Home consoles are no longer as huge over there anymore. But 3DS is still God in the country.
I have a feeling CAPCOM means another console aside from a Nintendo one, BUT this could mean it could come to the Wii U if the majority of the people who take the survey ask for a Wii U version.
That would be cool. The game is really nice, but it’s one downfall is the graphics. They would look nice on the Wii U.
But are you 10 million Wii U Owners going to buy it? Wanting a game on Wii U and actually actually going out and purchasing the thing are two different things. Then other 3rd party developers will start coming back on board to Wii U if they see a tittle top 10 best selling months in a row like GTA, COD and AC.
GTA, CoD, and AC are all multiplats, so of course they would sell for a long time. Also, those games are of the overwhelmingly popular group of games, where people will still be talking about GTA and probably AC (maybe CoD) for a long time. If this game came to the Wii U, I would buy it 100%. I’ve been holding out on getting this game because of that possibility. (If it doesn’t get confirmed within 3-5 months though, I’ll get it anyway)
MK8 stayed top ten for a while and that isn’t multiplat. Yet can’t say the same for samshbros. Therfore Wii U isn’t all base is large enough for software to stay top ten as long as other software tittles on other consoles. Such as Pokemon X and Y, Smash Bros 3Ds, 3D Mario World and other tittles.

Yeah. When I took the survey it didn’t ask. I selected that I played the game. At the end of the survey it just asked what other systems I play on.
I think it only comes up if you select you didn’t play the most current one. And then it is just one of 4 choices.

I definitely would like it on the Wii u since it would benefit from having the wii u pro controls, and I own only a normal 3ds which means thet screen is very tiny and lacks the cstick better camara control. Besides that, would look much better graphically.

I would personally really love to see it on the Wii U, so I posted on mine that I would love to see a transfer of game saves from a Wii U to the 3DS. I also put that having it on the Vita with cross play on the PS4 would be awesome because Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was my first Monster Hunter game and I feel like Sony should get in on the MH bandwagon again.

…? Not sure if hostile, or being sincere. I really do play Monster Hunter 4 on the 3DS. I played Tri for about 400 hours on both Wii U and 3DS as well. I just have a lot of friends who have PS4 and Monster Hunter is a game where communication can mean a lot.
If Nintendo loses MH exclusitivity, it’s going to be a major blow to Nintendo. It’ll be interesting to see what happens!
They don’t really own exclusivity to it. There have been Monster Hunter games on the Xbox 360 and Ps3 as well in other countries and Monster Hunter started on Playstation.

Monster Hunter online is even on Wii U, Ps4, and Xbox 360 and it came out after Tri. Tri is exclusive to Nintendo, but I’m guessing 4U won’t be much longer. Either that or the next monster hunter is moving to other consoles.

Mh4u looks great and the gameplay is amazing but I think monster hunter should go back from it’s to the PlayStation. If it was as successful for the 3ds it could be more successful on the bigger consoles.

While I love the MH series on my 3ds, and I love Nintendo in general, a part of me does want the new Monster Hunter on the Ps4. Just think about it for a second. A brand new Monster Hunter with kick ass graphics on your 50 inch flat screen. I’m a huge Monster Hunter fan, and I will follow which ever way Capcom decides to take the franchise. You know the Ps4 is tempting them though. It’s starting to sell very well in Japan, where most Monster Hunter fans are.

Well if this would encourage support for the Wii U, I’m up for it. One of the reasons I want to get a “new” 3DS is because of Monster Hunter but if they make one for the Wii U, then I’d be content and for my on-the-go past time, I’d choose a few mobile games I like. That’s right, I said it. I personally like mobile games for short bursts compared to one I’d rather sit down and not stop. Except F2P.

Capcom did made this for ps first but that did not get the profits that needed and Sony didn’t want to give them more money so they move to Nintendo and 3ds made a whole a lot of money with monster hunter 4

I would like to see a H n all consoles really. ITs a good game that has a great fan base. Heck after monster hunter 4 came out getting more people to join in the hunts was really easy for me to do. I ont mind having a Wii U set up but I would really enjoy it on my Xbox one and PS4 so I an hunt with my friends and show others the fun you can have fighting the odds.
