    >>>One more reason to why the New 3DS version is as useless as the machine is in terms of games>>>

Loool I’m just kidding. I get what you’re saying. Youre saying the 3DS I’d useless he cause you can play the definitive version on the Wii U… Right?

                      1. The New 3DS version is fantastic, the game is great in itself and adding 3D to the mix makes it even cooler, plus I buy 3DS titles over Wii u because I play most of my games on 3ds simply because it’s portable and I can take it anywhere. The new 3DS was a great upgrade from my first gen 3ds with the bigger screen, face tracking 3d, and second analog nub. I can hardly stand playing a regular 3ds now.

I would have to disagree Sir. The New 3DS is capable of playing /some/ games the Wii U can play. Even if in a bit lower quality, I think that is a big and important step in unifying the consoles and possibly even a step in bringing more 3DS games to the Wii U (expanding it’s library substantially) which would make bringing some of the Wii U eShop only games such as Paper Mario, Punch Out (Wii), Kirby 64, Mega Man X-X3 over to the N3DS.

Even less intensive games that the Wii U may have could possibly migrate toe N3DS and higher tier N3DS games could get dual releases or Wii UDS bundles. Speculation on my end yes, but I don’t think XBC or the N3DS are useless to the grander scheme of the empire.

My apologies, I had interpreted your post to mean that you felt the N3DS had no reason to exist.

                      1. I believe that the Wii version was just under 8GB, the B3DS version is 3.6, making it both the biggest Wii game and biggest 3DS game (closely followed by Resident Evil Revelations at 3.4). XenoCross is about 23GB.

                    1. I don’t regret buying Xenoblade Chronicles for my n3DS because that version has something this port does not: the Collection Mode where I can listen to my favorite Xenoblade Chronicles tracks without having to worry about a stupid Wiimote cutting the music short because it disconnected from the Wii. The 3D effect looks fantastic, too.

                    2. Just a Star Fox fan.

Got it once for Wii, not gonna get it twice no matter how hard Nintendo is trying to re sell this game on VC or with New3DS(does that system even have more than 1 exclusive?) not gonna even bother with its sequel, getting tired of Rpg genre if im honest, they require too much time and are too text heavy.

                    3. Ha! A couple of months ago some of you guys were telling me this wasn’t going to happen… Because 3DS version.

                    4. I want this! Too bad I don’t have space on my Wii U. The Metroid Prime Trilogy took all the space on my Wii U. I can’t even download game updates.

                      1. Time to get a 2 TB External Hard Drive. I hear this is a good one to get for a Wii U… and it’s cheaper than most. Other places sell it for over 100 bucks.

                        http://www.amazon.com/Toshiba-Canvio-Desktop-External-HDWC120XK3J1/dp/B008DW96NY/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1438788641&sr=1-1&keywords=Toshiba+2TB+Canvio+Desk+Desktop+External+Hard+Drive

Not sure if it’s as good as I hear but I will find out for myself next month when I can afford to get a refurbished Wii U from the online Nintendo store.

                        1. I definitely need an external hard drive. I also heard that the 2 TB on is good. I’ve been meaning to get one for a while now. It’s just I always found them too dang expensive. But, I guess I really need it right now so I might as well get it.

                          1. Might as well if we want to continue updating our current games when they need them & also continue getting future Virtual Console as well as some of our Wii U games, that we don’t ever intend to sell, digitally. Oh & not to mention any DLC that might interest us. Even the owners of a PS4 & Xbox One have to get one at some point if they don’t want to have to uninstall certain games then reinstall them later if they decide they want to play them again.

                            1. Yeah, I need one already. Have about 20 GB or something left on my PS4. I don’t know why the sizes of the games are so freaking large. GTA V and MKX steal like 100 GB alone. XD

                            2. Yeah definitely, I had to delete like 4 indie games just for the MK8 dlc. I seriously have no space at all to update anything lol, I can’t even buy any more games because it always says that storage space is full.

                              1. I can’t imagine the trouble you are having with Splatoon not having all of it’s content on the disc & have to actually download all of the updates for it. But that all hinges on if you even bought that game.

                                1. Actually the Splatoon updates are pretty small, compared to MK8 and even Smash, and even then most didn’t really need to be downloaded since most all of it was already in the disc. You just start playing and it’s already there. The August update was the only one that required a significant download and it fit in just fine. I don’t think they’ll ever get as big as the MK8 downloads. I’m at nearly full capacity on my Wii U, only an indie or two to squeeze in, but even the August update barely left a mark.

                                  1. That’s good to hear. If I actually owned Splatoon, I’d hate to have to wait for a long ass update to finish before I can play it because it has to download so much stuff. The worst part about downloading onto the Wii U is the fact it installs the data then downloads it, so we have to wait twice as long for any updates and/or DLC.

                                2. Haha, it’s actually pretty annoying. The other updates were fine but u__u i had to delete stuff again for the recent update. I really need to order an ex Hard Drive asap!

                                  1. Ouch. One of the reasons I stopped playing my Wii U was because I ran out of data space for the games I downloaded so I didn’t want to go through the hassle of uninstalling then reinstalling then uninstalling then so on & so forth the games I felt like playing. And when I finally get my damn external hard drive, the damn HDMI port on the Wii U itself got damaged and I can’t fix the two metal parts that have been bent and I refuse to send it in because I don’t want to take the chance of doing that & Nintendo loses all of my data forcing me to start all over again. Screw that. I went through that with the Wii 2 or 3 times, having to restart on games I had progressed very far in, & refuse to do the same with the Wii U. I’ll wait til I can get a refurbished Wii U for under 250 bucks, because I need a new Gamepad too, & just use the Wii U to Wii U transfer. Good thing I got my n3DS to keep me tide over til next month.

                          2. Considering that the Wii U is near the end of its life, you should be fine getting a USB flash drive. That’s what I did, and it’s faster memory access.

                            1. I’ve heard a flash drive isn’t as reliable, though, since it doesn’t have it’s own battery source.

                              1. Not sure what you mean by reliability, I’ve heard it’s faster due to being a solid state drive vs having moving parts. Hard drives have more frequently failed me on PC vs a thumb drive.

                                1. I’m referring to the Wii U, though. I’ve heard flash drives aren’t as reliable for the Wii U as external hard drives are.

                                2. And they are not saying flash drives fail but that they heat up the Wii U more than usual because the flash drive doesn’t have it’s own power source like some external hard drives do, so it uses up more power & causes certain things to work slower than normal.

                    5. Europe is getting so much and seeing them get it first is freaking me out. I wonder if we’ll ever get what they’re getting or if I’ll even be one of the lucky few who get a chance to pre-order some of the goodies coming so I can be almost sure that I get it. Some of you may know about that other thing. I won’t mention it here for the sake of getting my own copy.

                        1. It’s great that you’re getting all of these great bundles too, but I want a shot at it. It freaks me out because I’m afraid of missing out on the pre-oreders if it ever does get announced here. I’ve been subscribed to Nintendo of America, Europe, and Japan on YouTube and Japan gets a lot of other content too.

Hmm, I didn’t think about Nintendo of Australia until just now.

                    6. So they barely released any N64 VC games, and no GameCube games to date, but they’ll release a Wii VC. Even though you can already play Wii games on the Wii U. And they just recently put this out on 3DS. I don’t fucking get it.

                      1. Good point, but it does let others get a digital copy of the game if they don’t want a physical one from Amazon.

                        1. Oh burn! But Microsoft is right. Nintendo is not treating their back catalog good at all. Dozens of awesome N64 games & they only have 6 of them available!? That’s bullshit, Nintendo.
