Famitsu Is Impressed By Super Mario Maker

Nintendo’s forthcoming Super Mario Maker has been reviewed by Japanese gaming publication, Famitsu. As with all Famitsu reviews there are four separate reviewers who score the game out of ten. In the case of Super Mario Maker the game has received 9/9/9/10, which means it has received a total score of 37/40, which isn’t to be sniffed at. Super Mario Maker is due for release on September 11th and our review will be coming this afternoon.

  1. Doesn’t famitsu usually rate Japanese games higher than most games? Their bias makes them a bit less credible in my opinion.

  3. Damn. I thought that perhaps Famitsu might actually give another Mario game a perfect score. This game basically has the tools to build everything from New Super Mario Bros. It’s close though. The game looks like it’s going to be a blast. I can’t wait to try it out with my friends next week.
