The latest Pokémon available from Pokémon Sun & Moon’s Mystery Gift is a shiny Tapu Koko. The first of the four island guardians you meet on your journey in the latest Pokémon adventure, this shiny Tapu Koko is level 60 and comes with the Electric Surge ability and an Electric Seed which will raise its defense. As with most Mystery Gifts, this Pokémon will only be available for a short time, so make sure to jump on Pokémon Sun and/or Moon in the near future.
For those who don’t remember how to redeem a Mystery Gift, all you have to do is make sure you are connected to the internet and choose the Mystery Gift option on the main menu. Once that is complete, go to any Pokémon Center in the game and there will be a deliveryman of sorts standing by the PC in an orange shirt. Make sure you have an open slot in your party, and the shiny Tapu Koko will be all yours!
With Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon on the horizon, it’s great to see these titles continue to be supported with gifts and unique Pokémon that undoubtedly will be of great use when the two games launch on November 17, 2017 for the Nintendo 3DS.

I’ll stick with my original Tapu Koko I caught with a Luxury Ball. This shiny version honestly looks like crap compared to the regular one, anyway.
