NBA Playgrounds – Enhanced Edition Now Available, Dev Says That Shaq Fu Is Still Coming

Two bits of NBA Playgrounds news for you today, readers. The first is that a new version of the title for Switch has landed and it’s called NBA Playgrounds – Enhanced Edition. We reported back in October last year that another version was sent for certification and we can now report that it’s out there for you to nab. Here’s a description from the developer:

NBA Playgrounds – Enhanced Edition is now available on Nintendo Switch! The new upgrade includes all of the free post-launch content that has been released so far on the other platforms. This includes over 100 new players from different eras
(including Tim Duncan, Julius Erving, Steve Nash, and Manu Ginobili), second team jerseys, a three-point contest mode with online play, revamped rebounding system, and more! NBA Playgrounds on Nintendo Switch is also on sale for 50% off – only $9.99 now through Jan 18th!

The news came via NBA Playground’s official Facebook page but, understandably, some fans were quick to put them to task about the free copies of Shaq Fu that they have been expecting for some time now. The team also answered fan’s queries on Twitter and reiterated that it’s still being planned for distribution to those eligible:

Thanks go out to Marcus for the news tip!
