An eShop listing for the upcoming and eagerly awaited Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch has recently surfaced. Nintendo has kept fairly tight-lipped about the title that originally launched on the Wii in 2011 and they’re still stating a rather vague 2020 release window for now. Still, this could mean that we’ll be getting more info about the game soon.
At the time of writing, the listing has only appeared on the EU eShop.
No More Heroes 3 also appeared on the european eShop.
Can’t believe this is happening, normally we or at least i, wish for remakes like this game for years and years.
Like the whole Majora’s Mask 3D thing.
That’s how I feel with the remake of Resident Evil 3. I’ve been waiting on that for.. gosh, well over 15 years. I’m excited for this one too.
I hope they update the combat and menus to something more streamlined, like the ones they have in XBC2, that would really improve the general gameplay of XBC1.
Yeah it definitely needs an update to the menus. The menus in the original were always a bit annoying to sort through.
New Game+ needs a rework, too. Mostly in regards to what you can & can’t carry over. If they can do anything like what Squeenix did with Bravely Default’s & let you choose what you carry over (not just weapons & armor), that’d be great.
I was excited for this, but the other day I got Three Houses and I think I’m going to be busy for a loooooooong time.

I really didn’t anticipate that they would add this much to the FE formula. I was fully expecting FE: Awakening 3, this time in HD.

Now, all we need is a remake of Xenoblade Chronicles X.
I’ll drop everything else I’m doing for this when it releases. Especially if they make some improved changes to menus, NG+, & add more locations & story, even if it’s just more side stuff.
Its already been confirmed tht they are adding Bionis Shoulder to the remake. (was going to be in the original release but culdnt add it in time due to time constraint)
I was already aware of that as it was one of the things that stood out to me when they first showed it off. Even did a little research by checking out other people’s trailer breakdowns to make sure I wasn’t imagining things. lol It’d be nice if there is a little more they might sneak into the game in terms of new areas, but the Bionis Shoulder would be more than enough for me if that’s all we get in that regard.
