Studio MDHR, the developers behind the delightfully tricky Cuphead, have announced this evening that the long-awaited downloadable content titled The Delicious Last Course has been delayed. The DLC has been in development for quite sometime now and the reason for this delay is due to the coronavirus pandemic and the fact that the team also want to make sure that the overall quality of the DLC matches the main game. A release date or a release window hasn’t been announced for the DLC. Here’s the statement made by Studio MDHR.

Disappointing, but entirely understandable. This is one of those cases where I’m sure the end product will be worth the wait.
Not surprised. How many times has it been delayed?
This was supposed to come out in 2018.
Now it is taking more development time than the actual game. Also, was this previously postponed due to recreating it into a sequel rather than mere DLC?
I think you’re thinking of Silksong there.
AGAIN!?
But we waited two years enough as is!
Man, they’re STILL releasing DLC for this? I’ve been waiting for over a year (or two) for all DLC to be released so that a physical version for the Switch will release with all DLC included. I long for that day.
you know this is the only dlc for this game right?
See if it weren’t delayed previous times before, I’d accept Covid as an excuse. But my goodness, I lost count at how many times this has been delayed thus far. I rather it go silent and have a shadow drop to surprise everyone.
