It appears that launch preparations are clearly underway in Australia as local media outlets were invited to experience Nintendo’s revolutionary new console the Wii.
The opportunity for eager journalists to test out the console took place at Nintendo-Australia’s headquarters which are located in Scoresby, Melbourne. Two respected publications; The Age and the Herald Sun have already written about their experiences with the innovative machine, and the impressions they have given have been extremely positive.
The Age’s Jason Hill stated; “The latest hands-on play confirmed that gaming with the motion sensing Wii-mote is both delightfully intuitive and unnervingly foreign”. Whilst the Sunday Herald Sun was equally as enthusiastic “We had an exclusive play with a prototype of Nintendo’s next-generation offering and came away seriously impressed.”
