Sony Drop PSP Price To Compete Against Nintendo DS

In a much-needed move Sony have announced a dramatic £50 price drop of its PSP console in England

The PSP will retail at all good stockists for the rather generous price of £129.99 starting May 4th, which also strategically ties in with the launch of the PSP platinum range which includes established titles such as Ridge Racer and Tekken: Dark Resurrection.

  1. Wow, that really is an amazing price for the power and graphical abilities you’re getting. I remember the day the SONY shop was selling them for £300. It’s come quite a way since then.

  2. Indeed, it really can’t be faulted at that price, especially taking into consideration its homebrew capability’s. It’ll be interesting to see how it fares against the DS with its more appealing price point.
