Capcom sold more games than in any year in its history

Capcom has announced that for the business year which ended 31st March it sold more games than any other year in its history. The company released the well-received Resident Evil Requiem which went some way in helping Capcom sell more games than in any other 12-month period. Capcom sold 59.07 million games during the business year, which is up from the previous year when it sold 51.87 million. The Japanese company said that 83.7% sales were from older ‘catalog’ titles. Capcom also revealed that a staggering 93% of games sold were digital downloads.
