President and Chief Operating Officer of Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime, has warned that the eagerly awaited Legend of Zelda Wii might not make its widely expected 2010 release date.
“We haven’t committed to Zelda for 2010… so we’ll see how that continues to develop,” Fils-Aime told GameTrailers TV.

you guys know the longer we wait for this game, the more awesome it’s gonna be, right? Nintendo always does this. They release a console, and then as it progresses through games, they push it to the limit.

If this Zelda game don’t come out in 2010 then they should just scrap the Wii Version and just make a Next Gen 360 BIT or whatever bit Zelda game for there next console. By 2011 whose going to really care about it when most people by then will have a who knows what game that will kick Zelda’s 128 bit ass. Yeah graphics ain’t everything thats why Zelda Twilight Princess was released for Gamecube also but if this Zelda ain’t coming out till 2011 then it better be a Next Gen Zelda on a Next Gen console.

This news sucks. Super Mario Galaxy sucked and so will SMG 2. I think Nintendo likes shooting themselves in the foot.
