Nintendo Europe have announced that they’re launching three new colour variants of the hugely popular Nintendo DSi XL.
The hand-held’s will be available to purchase in yellow, blue and green and will come pre-loaded with DSiWare titles Brain Training and Dictionary 6 In 1 and will launch on October 8th.

Nintendo 3DS is this way.
Really? Crap. It’s a little late now, isn’t it? The 3DS will be out in a few months, I hope. Or is this a sign that it won’t be here till next year?
^ Most likely.
Nice ^^ Actually yellow, green and blue are brazilian’s flag colors 8D only missing the white
I was considering getting an xl when they were first announced but i didn’t like the colours they released. Now that the 3ds is going to be released soon, i don’t really see a point in getting an xl even though i think the bigger screen is really nice to have. At the moment, this hardware is just too old and dated to justify buying it.
wow more colors! I think I’m gonna go get me a… ooooh look 3DS!!!
I think blue is the nicest color :D
Basically, the DSi is a cheaper version of the 3DS, so it’ll appeal to people with not much money (since they’ve drastically reduced the price)
@JDE – Maybe. It depends on what you define as ‘here’. Remember, it was Nintendo of Europe that announced this.
They’re just doing the final push on the DSi since everyone knows what’s coming. And hey, it doesn’t hurt to have choices of colors.
Purple 3DS anyone?
