Nintendo Wii: Nintendo Wii Price Cut Begins In The United Kingdom

Popular UK gaming emporium Game have just slashed the price of the Nintendo Wii from it’s reccomended retail price of £165 to a mere £99.99.

Earlier this week we heard numerous rumours stating that the console is set to receive a price cut from Nintendo themselves in preparation for a reveal of their next home console at E3. Do you think other online retailers will follow in Game’s footsteps and reduce the price of the Nintendo Wii early in the United Kingdom?

Update: Amazon.co.uk have followed suit and are selling the console for £99.99 as well.

  1. 99,99? … whoa, i didn’t expect such a big price cut :O that may be a sign that the next wii isn’t that far from being unveiled … that matches pretty good with the rumours from gameinformer that it will be revealed on the e3 this year.
