Nintendo Wii: Treyarch Are The Development Team Behind Modern Warfare 3 On Wii

It’s been revealed that Treyarch are the development studio behind the recently announced Modern Warfare 3 on the Wii. Treyarch are the developers behind Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex Edition on Wii. Modern Warfare 3 will be developed by Infinity Ward on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

  1. And this is the reason why the Wii version is going to be bad like Black Ops. CoD3 and 4 were good on Wii. Now Treyarch which fails at making a good black ops game comes to take over.

  2. good thing the wii’s almost dead anyway, with all of the 2 good games remaining between now and the wii u. while we’re on this trend of bad games at the end of the wii’s life, they might as well be considering putting halo 17 on the wii -_-

    1. I know there have been quite a few halo games, and I no you’re being sarcastic, but given your outrageous exaggeration and the fact that they’ve only made 5 FPS games, I LOL’d 8)

    2. Actually, there is not only Skyward Sword and Kirby Wii, but Dragon Quest X is still coming to the Wii. That is easily the biggest 3rd party title on the Wii and of course it is going to be the very last title as well.

  3. I’m still waiting for Treyarch to do the dlc for Black Ops on the Wii (which they will never do, I might add). Until they do it, I will get MW3 for the Wii. I might not even get it whatsoever on ANY console.

    1. Sorry Dude, but don’t bet on it. If you’ve been up to date with COD News lately, you’ll know that Treyarch just announced a Zombies Only DLC With all of the World at War Zombies Maps, and one new map called “Moon”. The likelihood of Treyarch re-releasing all of the current DLC’s for the Wii is slim, especially when Black Ops is almost at the end of it’s lifespan

  4. hope they have their shit together on this one, blackops was a let down with no dlc and missing parts like zombies, hope the make this game decent,at least have every map, weapon, gamemode and let us have dlc please…

  5. For a moment I thought you wrote “Crytech.” Anyways, even though I will be not getting either version, I think it’s ok for people who play these on their Wii, especially when the Wii need more software. It’s a good move since Activision won’t have much of a competition on the Wii except for Zelda.

  6. Before you guys get all upset that Treyarch is developing MW3, look at it this way:

Remember back at Black Ops, when Treyarch had to focus on creating content for Black Ops for 4 or 5 different systems? Well now that Treyarch only has to develop content for one edition of the game (Wii), they can really focus on making the Wii edition of the game a full game.

PS: I have never played Modern Warfare Reflex on the Wii, so I would like to know, did Treyarch do a good job of the Wii edition of the game? Or did they leave out a lot of content like in Black Ops. (please reply to this comment and tell me.

    1. Treyarch did a really great job with COD4 on the Wii. The only things that were missing were split screen and DLC.

  7. Anyone else feel that because Infinity Ward doesn’t care and doesn’t want anything to do with the Wii (which by the way, still has a pretty big fan base) and Treyarch always gets the sloppy seconds of whatever game Infinity Ward doesn’t want to develop for the Wii

  8. After the tragedy that was Black Ops on all consoles, I feel sorry the players on the Wii… if they apply the same system of things as Black Ops, MW3 for the Wii will just be another camp/rage-fest. And since Zombies was the only redeeming quality in Black Ops (which, on the Wii had only ONE map!), now MW3 will have Survival Mode. They really should just put MW3 on the WiiU (developed by IW/Sledgehammer/Raven of course), it’d open up so many more possibilities.

  9. You recognize therefore considerably in relation to this subject, produced me individually imagine it from so many various angles. Its like women and men aren’t fascinated unless it is one thing to accomplish with Lady gaga! Your individual stuffs nice. All the time deal with it up!
