Nintendo 3DS: Nine Minutes Of High Quality Super Mario 3D Land Action For Nintendo 3DS

Nintendo World Report has uploaded nine minutes of high quality Super Mario 3D Land footage from this years Comic Con. Whilst the person who was playing the actual game didn’t provide the greatest demonstration, it still gives a good look at how some of the levels play. Super Mario 3D Land is due out November 18th in Europe and November 13th in North America

  1. Why can’t they ever make videos like this with someone who doesn’t suck at video games O_o? I swear, it’s like a trend now. Can’t wait for this game though. Already pre-ordered, along with Skyward Sword of course. GIMMEH MY GOLD!

    1. Trust me, it’s hard to play that game in 2D and with a camera between you and the 3DS. I played the game at a press appointment at gamescom and it’s really not that easy to play with all that shit you have to watch out for while recording. Here’s the video I’m talking about: http://youtu.be/9IV74lMmeaw
Also, the recording of the game sounds didn’t work and our cutter had to record some commentation afterwards…

    1. I saw a 5 year old playing this at Manchester yesterday and he was better at this. He even knew how to go down a pipe in 2-1 and get the star coin :o. On a side note, I don’t really need 9 minutes of footage when I saw 2 hours of it when actually playing the game yesterday (I know I spent 2 hours playing the same 4 levels. I still found new things every run through like a hidden 1-up in 2-5).

  2. Hey is it just me or does the bee around 2:21 remind anyone of that bee you could turn into from Banjo-Kazooie?

  3. Judging by how the guys thumb is positioned while playing towards the end of the video. it looks like the button layout will have us running with y and jumping with b again. Good ‘ol classic setup. And I’m going to very very sad when Mario’s voice actor dies 8( he’s getting old…

        1. Mel Blanc’s death practically ENDED the Golden Age of Loony Tunes. That guy was unbelievable. All of his characters sound so different yet they all we’re voiced by the same guy. Blew my mind when I found that out.
