I really hope there’s a sequel coming out because Nintendo has been silent for quite a long time now and this usually means new gen. Heck, Black and White have been released in Japan more than a year ago! Time for a new game!
You’re kidding, right? one year between generations. Pokemon started in 1996 i believe (Haven’t double checked, don’t sue me) and now in 2012 we have 5 gens. do the math, and that’s at least a 3 year gap between games.
Actually, he’s not kidding. Each year (almost always in March), a new Pokemon game for the handheld portable system is released.
The odd time it skips a year, but that has happened when they changed over systems. It’s a three year gap between generations. Not continuations of current generations.

Well I doubt we will see a new gen, but also Nintendo has stated they are done with this current gen and that pokemon gray wouldn’t be released in the US either. Who knows not like Nintendo is known for keeping their word. I agree with most parts, I just can’t see big changes in the battle system.
I like simple RPGS, and pokémon is one of the most, it’s a game for everyone since it was made. Turning the battle system deeper could mean complicating it.
Pokemon already IS complex. The magic with pokemon is that it hides its complexity with a simple UI. Because of this, the game is as complex or simple as you want it to be.
All that IV, EV crap is way too confusing. I really can’t believe there are people who pay attention and spend time with that crap. When I played I just got the best team I could, mostly legendaries lol.
A team full of legendaries is for people who have to spam their way through battles. If you can’t use normal non-legendary Pokemon, you’re a terrible Trainer. Having one legendary is acceptable but a team FILLED with them is lame. Show off teams like that to people and you’re bound to be called a noob, wimp.
I doubt there really going to announce anything! There’s been rumors flouting around for a long time now, but none of them ended up true! Ill believe it when I see it!
Its already been 2 years since B/W (in japan) and it happens to be that 2012 is the 10th anniversary of R/S
2013 is the 10th anniversary of R/S. So that means they COULD announce it this week, and it would be released next year in 2013 for the 10th anniversary.

Nope, it’s currently known as Pokemon Black 2 and Pokemon White 2. And they both feature Kyurem’s alternate forms similar to how Giratina was given an alternate form in Platinum. Except Kyurem has two forms, one that looks like a fusion of Kyurem and Zekrom, and one that looks like a fusion of Kyurem and Reshiram. Also, you can’t call someone homo just because they’re happy about a sequel to Black and White. It can’t be a spin-off because they SPECIFICALLY said it was a sequel to Black and White ONLY.
I seriously hope they really do announce an RPG and not a spin-off. And it better be for the 3DS!!! cause I’d like to see my pokemon in great graphics and glorious 3D :3

My son loves Pokemon. He is almost 8 years old. He is becoming a fan of Modern Warfare now. I am not really to much of a fan of either, but I support his desire to play games. And of course I am a gamer as well. But what is sad in this post is that a few of you actually tried to show out, and exchange words in here like one of you is better than the other, when you are both Pokemon fans. I guess somebody has learned nothing about teamwork, or friendship, or friendly competition from Pokemon.

Good. The 3DS needs this in order to totally dominate Japan. Monster Hunter and Mario were a big help but we really need this for the 3DS to remain on top all throughout it’s generation.
