Here’s The Kid Icarus: Uprising Multiplayer Demo

Nintendo of America has uploaded some spectacular footage of the fast and frantic Kid Icarus: Uprising multiplayer mode for Nintendo 3DS. Kid Icarus: Uprising is due for release in both North America and Europe on March 23rd. The multiplayer functionality for Kid Icarus: Uprising was demonstrated earlier at today’s Nintendo Direct conference.

      1. This actually destorys the nes/gameboy versions. screw retro with there Fps metriod I would like sakura to make metriod. also sakura is a cute boy who looks like an asian ladyboy…*drools*

  1. That whole narration was unnecessary, and it became extremely annoying. It should’ve just simply pointed things out like how when a teammate dies, the team’s life bar goes down, and stuff like that.

Aside from that though, this game looks spectacular!

    1. It’s Light versus Dark, not White versus Black. Yes, there is a difference. Now, about the video. I kind of thought how Dark Pit (bad) died was kind of corny. Seriously, falling of the edge?

        1. Ugh, I hate playing SSBB online because one time I was with 3 other strangers (no lifes, probably friends); and they only went after me!

          1. Yeah when you don’t taunt or whatever and try to fight they just gonna triple team you for no reason. I been in that situation a lot but im pretty sure everyone who plays online to fight had be attacked.

            1. THATS THE MAIN REASON SMASH BRO WII U WILL SUCK… TO MANY KIDS AND 40 YRS OLD MALES POSING AS PEACH/ZELDA TO ROLEPLAY WITH WEEABOO LOSERS. ARE WHITE PEOPLE MENTALLY RETARDED BECAUSE I SEE NO POINT OR HUMOR IN THAT CRAP. WHITE PPL. ARE THE MAIN ONES SEEKING A PSYCHIATRIST.

              1. R U mad?

Nintendo followers retarded? WTF are you talking about? Watch this… it’s a life of a Sony drone like you…

  2. the online looks like a mix of the battle style of halo mixed with the insanely fun randomness of smash bros. I’m definatly picking this up on 3/23

    1. I say it more like the gameplay of sin and punishment with starfox all range mode and super smash bros and dissidia fighting and action style.

  3. Like I said before, I don’t think I would last long in multiplayer, lol. I would also like to play a demo before I make the decision to buy this.

  4. Sounds like a wildlife video.
*australian accent* “seems he got the little bugger in an explosive trap”
“Crikey, he just blew him into the sky!”
“Just when you thought it was over, the light bugger makes a comeback and claims his domain”

  6. I think al ot of people would love to get a demo of this to see if they got the chops to handle the multiplayer.

    Leave luck to heaven.

    1. Pfft a lot of the game is Smash. there’s no problems with using that as a jumping off point.

And now we all need the next Smash Bros games. Hopefully they add some really great ideas and battle modes. Something beyond special brawl matches.

  7. Dear Sickr,
I have been debating wether to pre-order this game. After seeing this video, I immediately pre-ordered it.
    Thanks,

  8. I knew that when Nintendo games entered the online multiplayer field, they’d come up with some awesome ideas, and wouldn’t settle for CTF or team deathmatch styles. They would invent modes all their own, and add crazy weapon customization as well. I can’t wait to see what happens in the future, especially with Metroid. Creating customized bounty hunters will be amazing.
