Japanese publication My Game News Flash is reporting that Nintendo has filed a trademark for a new game titled ‘The Last Ranger’ or Saigo no Youjimbou (The Last Bodyguard) in Japanese. Nintendo hasn’t hinted if this is referring to a new franchise, or an existing franchise, but it’s interesting nonetheless. Could it be related to the Pokemon Ranger series?

All part of Disney’s new direction. First this then Dark Tales where Scrooge McDuck has to hunt down the killers of his Grandnephews Huey, Dewey and Louie.
And the final game in the Dark Disney series will be TaleSpin Out of Control. After Rebecca and Molly are killed by smugglers, Baloo goes after the smugglers Punisher style.

It does seem updated. Seems like it’s more secure and checking logins more thoroughly. I had issues, but figured them out.
Maybe Mach Rider: The Last Ranger
Maybe this One is related to the so Rumored Nintendo New IP?, Interesting the Title but the Diference.. looks like either an Action or an Action-Adventure games(by the bodyguard theme), or even a Shooter(in either person) again by the thematic.
Maybe will be Nintendo Equivalent of Burning Rangers? (but with Bodyguard Instead Firefigther One) That will be Amazing.
For the first minute until the vocals started it could nearly have passed as a Daft Punk video.
The Last Ranger sounds like that new IP Satoru Iwata described. How did he put it? I Massive single player online game? Last Ranger suggests one player, so that’s what it sounds like to me.
Hopefully it’s a new franchise, like we heard Nintendo to be working on for Wii U.

Wouldn’t they have to just refile the Pokemon Ranger trademark instead? To file a new one altogether speaks of new IP, not to mention there is no mention of “Pokemon” within the title. You can’t have a Pokemon game without the word “Pokemon” in it. Go ahead and try and dispute this, cuz EVERY SINGLE Pokemon has had the word “Pokemon” in it.
