New Resident Evil Game Coming To Nintendo 3DS?

Polish website MWRC is reporting that we will see a new Resident Evil title for the Nintendo 3DS later this year. The new game will be titled Resident Evil: Downfall and will take place between the events of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6. The player will control Claire Redfield who would witness the “downfall” of humanity. The game was originally announced by reputable UK publication Digital Spy but the article has since been pulled.

    1. It was also rumored that the game will include Degeneration and Damnation in 3D on the cartridge. How could you forget to put that lol? Oh and does anyone know how many units Resident Evil Revelations sold worldwide I cant find anything to tell me?

      1. not enough, in my eyes. possibly my favorite 3ds game, right behind kid icarus, another game that deserved more sales.

  1. YES! Finally, a new Resident Evil game where Claire Redfield is in the shoes of the main protagonist role! :D

I still want Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen to make a comeback at some point, too. And Barry Burton as well.

  2. liking the sound of that. revelations was a blast so I’m psyched for more re goodness. I really hope the online co-op makes a return.

  3. Awesome! Can’t wait to get this game. I didn’t really care for Raymond or Jessica but if this is a sequel to Revelations I can’t complain if there in it. Hopefully this game will take advantage of Nintendo Network.
