Demiurge Announced As Aliens Wii U Developer

It’s been confirmed that Demiurge Studios is the development team behind Aliens: Colonial Marines for Wii U. Gearbox Software’s Randy Pitchford has said that roughly 80% of the work on Aliens Wii U is being handled internally, but Demiurge, Nerve and Timegate are all lending a helping hand.

“When I play with the controller, I immediately realize that for the types of games I like to play and make, this is the best controller I’ve ever had from Nintendo. For Aliens: Colonial Marines, it’s really exciting to have that screen there because I can do things that are very unique to this universe. For instance, we have a motion tracker in this universe. Now our motion tracker can literally be in our hands and we can see and hear it –and scan the room in 360 degrees, since it’s a motion device.”

  1. It’s great to hear that Randy Pitchford approves Aliens: Colonial Marines for the Wii U. And I have to say that Demiurge Studios, Nerve and Timegate are assisting Gearbox Software are developing that game and have it released first on the Wii U. Whether if it’s released at launch or not, we’ll be ready to purchase that game.

  2. This game looks crazy scary. Walking down dark hallways with just a crappy flashlight to see your way and one of the Aliens jumps out and tries to eat your face. I love it. Leave luck to heaven.
