Deadpool, the video game, is being developed by High Moon Studios and will be published by Activision. A Wii U version of the game is apparently confirmed. According to Wii U Gamers, during Comic-Con, Deadpool producer Pierre Leroux was asked whether the game will be released on Wii U and he responded by saying that it will be playable on Nintendo’s upcoming console.

Deadpool’s a little nieche, only recently gained popularity, but yes, if you have no real knowledge on the game, or series, its not worth judging.

Consoles always have meh launches, if people want to wait till a few months after, then they can, but people will be buying it in the first week, and theres a decent line up of games so far. Well I had to buy it cos it looked awesome since NINTENDO never did DEMOS of upcoming games until well after the wii launch. NOW they are doing demos FINALLY so I can try a game out before it launches.

hey you are right, many fan boys are scared to break the mushroom kingdom or hyrule bubble, i was one of those to tell the truth, i took the risk and i love bioshock and assassins creed series. but you have to say the same from sony/MS fans, they are scared of people calling them babies and they are missing out some great nintendo franchises.

Actually Ninja Gaiden 3 is getting a bit of an overhaul for the WiiU version. Changing the difficulty, some gameplay mechanics, and bringing decapitations back in. Team Ninja are looking to make it the best version of the game by far.

“The Kinect game” refers to Avengers: Battle for Earth which will be available for 360 (compatible w/ Kinect) and Wii U. It just so happened the person also mentioned “Deadpool is awesome” following other statements about the Deadpool game, so it was misinterpreted as a Wii U announcement. Unless this is an entirely separate statement, no platforms are currently confirmed for Deadpool.

I skeptical if this is true according to what SonofMrPeanut said. If the Deadpool producer said that “it” will be playable on Wii U, maybe it is Deadpool. Plus, Activision did say Wii U has potential, so that’s a good sign. Can’t wait to see more of Deadpool.

I’ve also discovered in the Liveblog a man by the name of Pierre LeBeux from Ubisoft who was there to talk about Avengers: Battle For Earth (1:57). Not being able to find anything about the supposed Daredevil producer, Pierre Leroux, outside of that alleged quote, I’m starting to believe he is Pierre LeBeux of Ubisoft after a game of telephone. What started as Pierre LeBeux from Ubisoft not really answering the wheelchair guy’s question and saying Avengers is on 360 & Wii U became Pierre “Leroux” of Activision confirming a platform for Daredevil which was then given to a news site and reported.
If he does exist, please feel free to correct me. This could all be a very unfortunate coincidence. I really do hope someone from Activision and/or the project comes forward soon and clears things up one way or the other. In the meantime, here’s the video footage of the panel.
