I believe it’s the right analog emulating it, a simple .dll file can enable it if I’m not mistaken.
From what I’ve seen, it looks almost identical to using an actual Wii remote+.

i play it on my pc, but i use a bluetooth receiver and an actual wiimote with motion plus and the nunchuck. the game is pretty spectacular looking in full 1080p might i add.

They’re actually called Miniblins.
I loved killing those enemies. I call them “Nen-nens” because of the sound they make. After I beat the game for umpteenth time, I kept running through the infinite dungeon and beating every enemy on every level. Did it in Twiliight Princess too. Two of the very best Zelda games imo.
I love the Cave of Ordeals (or whatever it was called) in TP. Fairies everywhere! :D

Really? I feel like Twilight Princess is overrated. It’s one of my favourite games, but people act like it’s the best Zelda all the time. I remember all the complaining people when Nintendo announced Skyward Sword: “Make it more like Twilight Princess! I don’t like the art style” and so on.
Twilight Princess is one of the best games ever, but it has some weak points, as well, and that makes it not-the-best Zelda in my book.
It seems the Zelda fanbase is very fickle. They always talk crap about the new game and hold the older one on a pedastal. It happened with OoT and Wind Waker, people were bitching about the cel-shaded look. “Why couldn’t they make it look more like OoT? I don’t want to play as young Link for the whole game.”
When TP was announced, they complained it’s not as open world as Wind Waker. The game’s too linear, Wind Waker was the best. Make it more like that one. Now they hold Twilight Princess up as the best Zelda game. “I don’t like the art style in this game. Why couldn’t they have given us the option to use traditional controls? I hate Wii Motion +!” The Zelda tech demo for Wii U didn’t help the situation much because it used the Twilight Princess art style and showed us what it would look like in true HD. Perfection.

I’m still amazed at the tech demo from last year. If the next Zelda looks like that, it’s gonna be mind blowing. With the potential of the Wii U, the next Zelda may be the one to supass OoT.
It did look incredible. And it was all in real time, so the actually gameplay will be like that, seeing as Nintendo dont use FMV’s, or anything like that or pre-rendered cutscenes for Zelda.
I still hope i’ll see a Zelda based in the future…just as a one off. Its the sort of thing Retro or another big developer could pull off, to have it feel like Zelda but be so drastically different

You dont have to, but, it is better to have one. You can get a HD Ready tv for pretty cheap these days. It wont be huge, but it’ll be big enough and display hd images

Personally, although Ocarina of Time is a timeless classic and will always be one of the greatest games ever, I think it’s the weakest 3D Zelda. It’s almost as if the 3D Zeldas really did get better each time…though I’m yet to play Wind Waker, so that could change.
I understand where you’re coming from. But part of what make OoT the best is it was the first 3D Zelda.First time seeinf the characters iin 3D was amazing. It set the standad for 3D action-adventure games. Pioneered the Z lock on system adapted by many other games since then. Engaging story. I could go on and on.
I also agree the Zelda games keep getting better with every installment.

Wind Waker is better anyway, that game hasn’t aged at all and is has some of the most beautiful uses of cel-shading I’ve seen in games for a long time.
