Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D For Nintendo 3DS Coming October

Namco Bandai and Atari have announced that Rollercoaster Tycoon 3D for the Nintendo 3DS will launch in Europe and Australasia this October. The game will allow players to create their ultimate roller coaster and share it with their friends via StreetPass. Players will also be given the option to invite StreetPass Mii Plaza friends to their theme park.

  1. Wow, i used to play this game a ton back when i was a kid, loved making my own theme parks, and insane rollercoasters (and maybe putting people in pits…) will probabl pick this up if its any good, also cool to see a good use of Street and SpotPass

  2. Thats great :) i woried they stopped it, im big fan of the RCT series. Hope they will do a rct4 for PC or wii u i can image how i construct rides on the tablet ^_^ and then place them all over the park. That would be really cool.

        1. xD would be sweet, having the map on the screen, and just tapping around to move to different segments of your city

  3. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yeah!!!!!!!!!

      1. And kill people? And isolate them in the middle of the lake surrounded by mascots? Yeah, I have fantastic memories of that game… :D

And don’t forget to block the exits >:D

  4. -.- i think namco bandai should focus on smash bros. i think more people are excited for smash bros than they are to make a rollercoaster

    1. ….thats why they have Atari and n-Space doing it…Namco Bandai has a special team set put solely to do Smash Bros, all the guys that did all the fighting games, like Tekken, DBZ, ect, amongst others, theyre sole job is the project, along with Sakurai and his team too.
Its like say Nintendo should only make 1 game at a time, but we know Zelda Team is making Zelda, and Miyamoto is supposedly making Mario, not to mention Retros game, and probably more we dont know about, including all the 3DS games. Chill ya beeeef

      1. ok, im fine with this as long as this “dream team” is as good as it sounds (and it sounds really good).

        1. Definitley. The thing you need to remember is that Sakurai is still behind the wheel. Its his vision, his ideas, although im sure Namco suggested some to him at some point, but its still most definitley Smash Bros. but the whole point of having this team is because of the amount of work thats going into it. All the returning characters will have new moves, they need to include new characters, as well as making them all unique (no clones) new stages, a better online (which i have full faith in after Kid Icarus), all the music production, a bigger story mode most likely, and of course, all working on a console faaar superior to the Wii, so i imagine its quite a overwhelming task

  5. Not my sort of game, but I have a friend which will be very excited about this news. I actually heard the game was more or less finished but it had publishing issues. Hopefully they’ll stick to this date, was supposed to come out in March.

  6. I really hope it is good, I have been waiting long for Roller Coaster Tycoon 4. Nothing beats RC2, but hey. I’ll be picking it for Christmas.
