THQ has provided further details on its Wii U launch title, Darksiders 2. The developer says that you can play the game entirely on the Wii U GamePad if you so wish, or you can use the standard setup and play the game on your television. Darksiders 2 will also support the Wii U GamePad and the Wii U Pro Controller, so it’s completely up to you how you embark upon the epic quest. The Wii U version of the game will also allow you to instantly access your inventory and ability menus via the GamePad’s screen. Darksiders 2 launches November 18th on Wii U.
Easily the best version of the game. :)
Only slightly, but yeah.
Trust me, being able to access your menus in that game on the fly is neccessary xD
Yes… i play it on PC with Xbox 360 controller and really, it would be a better experience to play with the new Wii U gamepad.
Day 1 buy for me. I will enjoy playing it on my back deck with a beer. … Next summer cause nov 18 is damn cold in northern ontario. Probably will beat it by then so how about I will enjoy playing it on the shitter.
This will the first Wii U game I put into my Wii U. This game looks bad ass and Vigil has supported Wii u from the start, so I will support them. Leave luck to heaven.

This has ones attention – We shall most certainly have this on our list of essential purchases when it comes time for acquisition of this console, whenever that time may arise!
Gotta love Ninten. Always giving their gamers options to play their games
These options are what all multiplats should offer on the WiiU. Good job, Vigil.
The more ways to play/options, the better. Other companies, take note.
How does Darksiders play?
It seems to be so hyped ;p
Two thumbs up for Vigil Games for giving future Wii U gamers a freedom of choice– using either the Game Pad or the Pro controller. If I had Darksiders II (a must buy), I’d prefer the Game Pad.
Nice, this is what games on the Wii U should offer, different ways to play the game to find the controller set up you feel more comfortable with.
I am definitely getting this game. I will lose whole heap of hours in this game.
And only god knows how many fans are please with these options.
