Fancy yourself a musical whiz-kid? Or just want to make crazy music? Well, KORG MO1D lets you do just that for your Nintendo 3DS. The original musical emulator was released for DS in 2010 and enabled you to create music with two analogue synthesizers, which could be modified by using virtual buttons to produce different sounds.
The upgraded KORG M01D allows you to create up to 342 unique sounds, with a maximum of 24 voices. It also features an 8 track, 64 step sequencer giving you up to 99 scenes. However, it also comes with a hefty price tag, setting you back a total of 3,000 yen, $30 or £20. KORG M01D will be available on the eShop from May in Japan and worldwide this summer. Check out the trailer to get a feel for the tempo.
I bet everyone just makes Nintendo tunes though.
Afterburner: Climax and recreations of Ar Tonelico songs, for me.
So, no, not just Nintendo songs.
YES!! Get ready for the next daft punk, because you’re reading his comment right now.
I do a bit of Music production my self! Probably get this game for 3DS :) I use Reason and fruity loops.
$30 Woah! Must be good then, riiight!!!? 💋
$30 seems very worth the price to me if it does what it does well.
Ok, but, because of the resistive touchscreen, you can play only one note at time.
I LOVE the resistive touchscreen for games, it’s far better than the capacitive, but it really sucks for this kind of things..
That’s a good point, never thought of that.
Holy Amadeus!
Reblogged this on M2wa2 DigiTech..
I am looking into making my own music, so I might look into this.
