    1. Great post, I agree with namco Bandai. their resources are in the production of Smash Brothers. Let’s be patient and not greedy. Play station 3 sonyans need to smile too. It is better when the smile as we are playing Pikmin and other beauties. That way they can jump ship like a lot of my sony friends are doing as I speak.

      1. We are called Sonyfanuks and we only play mature harcore titles w cussing, yelling, QTE’s, explosions, yelling and of course boobs!!!That’s what makes a game hardcore.

  1. Amen! Hallelujah. Praise the most high. This way we nintendo gamers are happy, and Jelly Bean is happy too. Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD would have left our Sonyan cousins on mynintendonews sad :).

    1. Nintendo Commander

Check my response in the Warren Spector thread…

Aslong as the Xbox Done didn’t get this…

      1. I have seen it, and about to reply nintendo commander. What is your take on the one hour long Wii U e3 games direct?

        1. Nintendo Commander

Oh I’m very excited to see what High Command will reveal and show…

Plus there will be a few more Directs after that one so to sum up everything, we won before the war even started…

      2. A better question would be, why the hell do you want a console to fail?
The company loses money, people waste months, possibly years of work. You’re really no better than anyone who says Nintendo should fail.

What should really happen is that the Xbox One gets a truckload of new IP’s and games to match Sony and Microsoft’s truckload of mascots, and they learn from this DRM thing and fix it before E3.
More competition = A better industry.

  2. I know that this game is from GC and Wii but I see no point making this “news” for a Nintendo site.

  3. I would definitly get this since I never finished the Wii one and don’t have it anymore, but I’m saving up for better things right now. :)

Also by “Guy” does it mean the Guy from Naruto?

  4. NAMCO I thought you and Nintendo were tight?!?!??? Did Sakurai say no to lloyd in next super smash bros or something?!?!?!?

    1. Namco has stated that the tales SSeries will stay on the PS3, for now.

just give the other platflorms time to grow.

  5. You see that, community?
    DO YOU SEE THAT?
All that RAGE coming from Nintendo fans over this not IMMEDIATELY coming to the Wii U?
Oh wait. No, you don’t. Can’t see a minority that small.

This is how something like this is handled.
You do NOT handle it like the idiots raging over Bayonetta 2 or Sonic: Lost World have been doing.
Yeah, there’s always going to be a select few who are bitching over it, but in the eeeeend, it doesn’t even maaaaatter.[Kudos if you see what I did there]

    Patience is key, people.
Platinum will have more of their games, possibly even more future Bayonetta games, for all consoles.
Same goes for Sega and their 3D Sonic games.
And the same goes for the Tales series. Whether we get this one or have to wait, we’re being patient, and it is going to pay off.

Ragers gonna rage, haters gonna hate.

But true fans will be smart, and wait.

    1. Whilst I pretty much agree with everything you said here, I’m not opposed to the idea of a (polite and well written online) petition to let Namco understand that there is demand for this on the Wii U.
I’m not angry cause of the fact that the PS3 is getting this…I’m just a bit angry that this isn’t heading to the Wii U as well (yet), seeing that Tales of Symphonia on the GC was the highest selling Tales of game in the West.

  7. thats good. also the tales community is the strongest on the ps3, and the games are just getting released over here now because of it!!!!!! so stop bitching this has to do with news since most of you complainers care about it. im glad this is getting released and dont care if its not on nintendo. how is this news….. fucking shut up you know why this is news so stop being a bitch about it!!!!!!

        1. Are you aware Symphonia gamecube version is the best selling tales game?

its because there is lots more ps3 than wiiu. it will come to wiiu eventually I think!

        1. it doesnt matter if the va sucked, it just sucked in general every room there was like 7 cutscenes. they shouldnt of made it if they were going to make it suck so bad like that.

            1. Actually I’ve played those games and I love them! I haven’t played the Crash games but I’m sure I’ll love those too! When I said that I was talking about their more recent IPs like Infamous, Killzone, or God of War. I don’t hate them I just wish that there were more normal games and less gore or movie blockbusters games.

            2. Need I remind you that the most used excuses from Sony fantards to disregard Nintendo games is because they’re not “cinematic” enough and that their franchises are overexploited?
Well, call a doctor, because I think someone’s got a case of the hypocrites!

            1. In a video game you expect… well… a video game! Not a movie! Video games were never movie like. They were just a normal video game that you can have fun playing. Not that I hate movie games, I love the Uncharted series! But when a video game is more like a movie it loses a certain charm. For example: If I just finished Twilight Princess and return it after I finish it I’ll miss the game so much because it has that certain charm but if I finish Uncharted 3 and return it I won’t really miss it because it’s a like a movie and it’s something I’ll won’t play again unless you’re trying to get all the trophies of the game. Or Kid Icarus Uprising. Even if the game didn’t have online, I would still keep it because the story was amazing and very funny! I don’t know, it could just be me who feels this way.

            2. The sequel to Tales of Symphonia/prequel to Tales of Phantasia, Dawn of the New World, is often cited as the worst of the three because of issues such as linearity and over-reliance on cutscenes.
It is indeed a very tightly handled game that is just too explicative for it’s own good; mostly because it often incurs in a rookie writing mistake: Telling and not showing, which, coupled with its linearity and lack of exploration, causes the game’s pace to be choppy and disjointed.
Now, the game itself is nothing really bad, the controls and gameplay are good, the story is a little underwhelming when compared to the epicness of the other two but works and is both cohesive and coherent enough, and even the characters are good, in fact, much more humane and fleshed out than those from the other two games, it is just the ugly duckling, by being part of a franchise, and even worse a franchise within a franchise, it was bound to be compared to its older brothers and criticized on every thing it did differently, even if it was not a flaw by definition.
This remaster, however, could probably serve to fix some of the errors that derived in its inferiority, by allowing use of the Symphonia party and field maps, by making Dawn of the New World more like ToSC’s response to Graces’ F arc, many of the complains about restrictions and linearity could be lifted away from it, leaving only the storyline to be fixed.

      1. I thought DotNW was really good……I liked the aerial combat and Emil was a genuinely relateable character

    1. I fail, they said they will release it on the PS3 in 2014. I definitely have to get at PS3 now.

  8. Please Namco, make it for Wii U as well! I love this game, but I’m not buying a PS3 or a PS4 just for it!

    1. You do realize that they said it’s being released if the Wii U is successful enough, right?
Or were you too busy raging like a mindless fanboy?

  9. And this is why I go both Nintendo and Sony.
Great games everywhere, now I need to pray that it’s released stateside.

  10. Sigh, sounds like Namco is once again giving Nintendo the middle finger.

Rereleasing one of the best GCN games as a PS3 exclusive? For shame Namco.

Outside of Smash Bros. 4, you’d think Namco hates Nintendo or something. They never seem to release most of their major franchises for them anymore, like Tales and Soul Calibur.

    1. They exclusively Made a Tales game for the Wii, and 3 for the DS. An exclusive SC game that featured Lloyd, what kind of shit are you smoking that makes You Think Namco doesn’t Support Nintendo??

Let me guess, you’re just a rambling fanboy wanted to jump in the “wtf bandi ” bandwagon

      1. You mean all those DS games that didn’t even make it over the ocean? Not to mention, the games you mentioned (the Wii Tales and Soul Calibur) were both spin-offs that ended up getting panned because they all looked like Namco didn’t even care about them.

Yet, Sony gets Soul Calibur 4, Soul Calibur 5, Tales of Xillia, Tales of Graces f, and now this.

I don’t see why this game can’t be multi-platform. Give both fanbases something to be happy about.

      2. Not really, he’s got a point, Namco hasn’t released a new, main series Tales in a Nintendo console since the GameCube era.
And yes Wii got Graces, but with F on PS3 nobody cares for the original and non-localized Wii version.
And to be honest, low rent ports of games like Soul Calibur or Tales of the Abyss don’t take that much time or interest, so don’t try to pass them off as full-on support.
Still, this grudge shit is something you would expect a western company to do (eed I remind you guys of the shit we’ve been seeing go down the last few months?), japanese companies and businesspersons tent to be much more more composed and professional to incur in something as idiotic as fanboying, Namco is simply staying with the console that is giving them the most revenue, when PS3 decays and if PS4 flops like Vita (Which has very good Tales remake games in it yet neither the console nor the games sell shit), Namco may chose to go back to Nintendo and start producing for 3DS and WiiU.
You people are just too western for your own good, this is a business, it’s not about who likes who or who thinks what, it’s about making profit, leave the childish shit to Orth and Fish.

  11. Well I have both games on Gamecube and Wii respectively so no huge loss for me. Now if only they would make a Tales of Symphonia 3 on Wii U…..

    1. this would actually be the 2nd Tales Wii Game that the PS3 gets.

the first one being Tales of Tales of Graces.

  12. Hideo Baba is such a liar! There he was saying how surprised he was with the rumor, yeah right.
To me it’s cool, Tales isn’t really a huge franchise (In terms of market), so it is fine for me if they stay with the stuff that works for them (Though they may have taken the fanboying too far with the Hearts and Innocence remakes, that bad move will probably forbid western audiences of ever getting a localization for those games).
Still, for me it’s fine because it means warranting the success of the product, specially in the west, which will get more games localized in the future; plus it’ll give me something to do with a console I seldom use.

  13. If you think Phillip`s story is really cool…, two weeks ago my sister’s best friend basically got $7656 just sitting there fourteen hours a week from their apartment and the’re neighbor’s aunt`s neighbour has done this for 7-months and earned over $7656 in there spare time from their laptop. the advice from this site, Bow6.com
