Nintendo of America showed off Monolith Soft’s brand new game for Wii U. The goal of Monolith Soft’s new game is to create a large-scale open world that can be explored seamlessly. During the game you can ride the human-shaped robots. The new game from Monolith Soft will launch in 2014.

This and Super Smash Bros was more than enough to get over the disappoint that was Mario 3D World.
How was Mario a Dissapoint? I thought it was amazing. Imagine that game running at 60fps… What did people expect to see? This is Next Gen Mario it was awesome!
It’s a disappoint because Nintendo fan were expecting a normal 3D Mario game like SMG or Sunshine. I’m not saying that I think it sucks. If I had a Wii U it’s something I would definitely buy but I was expecting more. I’m disappointed but not as much as other people.

Not a 3D Land rip-off.
Not only that, the thing I liked about Galaxy was about how it showed that the Wii could produce incredible graphics.
This kiddy looking 3D Land rip-off won’t show off the Wii U’s power at all. Granted, I’m not that big on graphics, but I do appreciate good ones.
How would you think it’s a 3D Land rip off? Just because Nintendo have made their first 3 dimensional Mario title on the Wii U doesn’t mean it’s considered a Super Mario 3D Land rip-off. Never underestimate Nintendo or the Mario franchise. Super Mario 3D World is like New Super Mario Bros. U… but in a 3D playing field. I find that U game a traditional follow up to the original 3DS counterpart and would be a great addition to the Wii U library of fun and unique games.
That doesn’t exactly help someone like me, who ended up hating NSMB after playing it and selling it.
I’m just glad that Nintendo has other franchises doing well right now, because their recent Mario games look like crap, outside of M&L: Dream Team which looks awesome.
