Japanese publication CoroCoro has released new information relating to Pokémon X and Y – though currently unconfirmed, Serebii.net has received a translation of the most recent scan. Below you’ll find the additional tidbits of information for the latest upcoming title in the Pokémon franchise.
- A new character named Sana – detailed in the trailer, she appears to follow you into the forest.
- Another new character named Pansy – appears in the anime with Gogoat and Helioptile.
- First Gym Leader named Viola – specialises in Bug-types within Hakudan City
- You begin your journey in Asame Town with three other trainers Sana, Tieruno and Toroba.
- Your rival is known as Callum or Serena, depending on the gender you choose.
- Lion cub Pokémon revealed yesterday is called (Japanese) Shishiko, a fire/normal-type, and knows the move Battle Cry.
- The flower type Pokémon is named (Japanese) Furabebe, a Fairy-type, and knows the move Fairy Wind.
- Vivillon’s pre-evolutions are named (Japanese) Kofukimushi and Kofuurai.
