EA senior director of corporate communications John Reseburg has confirmed that the company has absolutely no plans to bring EA passes back. Reseburg reiterated that forthcoming games from the company won’t include online passes, and they are looking to remove them from existing games. Reseburg concluded that their online pass decision was based on player feedback.
“There is no change to our decision to discontinue Online Pass. It is dead. As we said a few weeks ago, none of our new EA titles will include online pass, and we are removing it from existing games as well. Nothing else on today’s news, but did want to be clear that our online pass decision was based on player feedback, and there’s no change.”

It just confirms that EA and Microsoft are working together. Xbox removes DRM, and EA removes online passes to please players. Still be careful with those, they will put a stick in your ass when you least expect it
Actually ea romeved the passes before xbox one, assumingly because the xbox one had it built in, good to see them not going back on it all of a sudden but they may be withholding bringing it back because doing it after the xbox announcement would be too obvious.

Its a code that comes with the disc without that code you can’t play online , and it can only be used for one account ” or system I don’t really remember ” , so if u buy a used game and the code was used , u can’t play online
