Instead of ending region locking, Nintendo goes out and actually localizes the game for the fans. That’s good Nintendo, keep it going. Also, I prefer this over getting the Japanese version of the game.
You do realize this game is entirely up to Atlus with 0 involvement from Nintendo, right?
My mistake, then. I thought this was the same case as the Fairy game from Square Enix. Oh well.
But on that, shouldn’t Nintendo be helping Atlus right now anyways? You can’t be sure that Nintendo didn’t have at least some % of involvement in localizing this game.
Also, this is an announcement for US only… basically, thanks to Nintendo region locking neither Australia nor Europe will be able to play this until Atlus decide to sell in that region.

How the fuck are the Jak and Daxter games rehashes. All 3 games in the trilogy are different from each other.

In game-play, they’re not the same obviously. NSMBU is a 2D Sidescroller, 3D Land is a 3D Platformer. In story, they’re the exact same fucking thing. Can’t Nintendo come up with a worth while story? We know they can do it, look at the Paper Mario series (specifically Thousand Year Door and SPM). Can’t we just have one game without the whole “princess is captured for the 57th time, rescue her”? 3D World looks promising because Peach is playable, so the story has to be different.
